Worth paying all inclusive for the drinks, but not the food. Expect to eat out occasionally.
Best rooms: Ground floor, facing the pool.

For places to eat Belle Vista was about £40 for two (most expensive we tried) but i had steak and it was fantastic. The shine indian was lovely, and try the English restaurant, owned by an English man and Turkish wife, food is lovely.
A few bars which cater for all types, good for families too, not many groups about, suits more couples and families all ages. We found a nice Bar, Harmony Kareoke bar , the staff were great.
You must visit Oludeniz beach, this was our first time to this resort and we loved the beach, it was turqoise waters with shore waves which were great fun(little like Mexico beach), the only problem was the sand it was stones and hurts the feet, buy some swim shoes in the resort they are worth it. Also there is the Laggon you have to pay to get in. but the water is great and an experience. When you get to the beach just ask someone where the Lagoon is and then its just a short walk.
Oh the sun beds on beach and lagoon are charged for, it worked out about £7.50 for two of us, which was bad but you will want one.
Hope I helped.

Majority of people in resort are couples or families, however we did see one hen pary and one stag do this time. Lots of restauraunts, I recommend El Nino's, next door but one to Festival and opposite the London Bar. Excellent pizza's, lasagne and Guvec. Rainbow Indian Restaraunt also very good. The Olive Tree also recommended.

Hisaronu is very commercialised. We enjoyed walking through the resort in the evening and eating in the huge variety of restaurants. Liked the Bees Knees and Piano bar for traditional options, loved the baked bread/garlic butter. Shine Indian was great value and very tasty too.
Enjoyed having a Hammam on our first day in the centre of Hisaronu. Would have preferred Olu Deniz feels more upmarket and the beach is great.
One point when departing from Dalyman airport take your own food and drinks as the prices are extortionate. For example £4.50 for a small coffee, couldn't believe it!! You are allowed to take bottles of water through to departure lounge. So stock up!

Hisaronu has plenty of Bars, restaurants and shops, we ate out most nights, the Bella vista restaurant situated opposite the hotel, and Delboys/ackimic pizza bar/restaurant both have excellent varied menus.
The Monday market in Hisaronu has some excellent bargains but you have to be there very early to avoid the heavy crowds and the heat.
A short dolmus ride away is Olu Deniz, which has a pictureque beach and the paragliders which are fascinating to watch coming off the mountain, The sea horse beach club, (used to be Suara beach) run a free return shuttle bus service from your hotel to their private beach on the Blue Lagoon where the bathing is safe for children.
This was our second visit to Turkey, it's nice, but we are not sure about returning though, as the low exchange rate and the price of everything has risen so dramatically since we last visited in 2006, it may have put us off. ....they're killing the goose that lays the golden eggs !

Hisaronu is beautiful...set on a plateau between Fetiye and olu Deniz, you get a nice breeze which helps to cool you down....the restuarants are great...although give the Taj Mahal a miss....bad food, poor service....etc
Nightlife in hisaronu is great, very lively and open until all hours!

Hisaronu is a lively town with plenty of bars and restaurants for every taste. Children are welcome everywhere and there is a family atmosphere in this resort.
A short ride away in a dolmus is olu deniz where there is a nice(ish) but pebbly beach. Boat trips from here are highly recommended.
I particularly recommend El Ninos and the Ottoman Grill for good Turkish food and the Aloha Bar and Big Break for nightime entertainment.

A good base to stay in the Fethiye area. Cooler than the coast.
Many shops selling the usual stuff. Two good size supermarkets.
Good size local market with plentiful cheap fruit and veg. Picked up some excellent clothes at prices may below the UK.
Nightlife is very varied with many bars and restaurants. Something for everyone.
No beach, but five minutes on dolmus to Olu Deniz with its beautiful lagoon and beaches.
Go to Fethiye for some good shops and the weekly market.
Dolmus service frequent and cheap.
Must go on 12 islands boat trip. Go on sunset cruise for a different night out. Jeep safari is also a must.
We would stay in Hisaronu again in the future that's for sure.

Hisaronu is a busy resort with lots of shops and Restaurants. They have a Market every Monday which is very good with lot's of bargains to be had. We were there for two weeks and I can't say we had a bad meal while we were there, and the choice is excellent. Olu Deniz is the main beach area which is spectacular, the Blue Lagoon one of Turkey's treasures. There is a Dolmus service to Olu Deniz and also to Fethiye the nearest major town every five minutes from Hiasaronu. All in all a very pleasant place to stay and we would go back there tomorrow.
