Worth paying all inclusive for the drinks, but not the food. Expect to eat out occasionally.
Best rooms: Ground floor, facing the pool.

hisaronu has no beach yet olu deniz lagoon is just 5mins downhill in a dolmus for a few quid.to be honest you will benifit because there is always a breeze to help keep cool which is none existant on the beach.this village has everything to shop for and a resturant for all tastes.the is no trouble that we saw or pub crawling yobs.(the last lot were escorted to the airport for an early flight home so iam told).it is very child friendly and you feel safe even when its very busy.

Lovely resort, plenty to do and loads of restarants and bars to choose from. We loved Effes pub for cocktails and Nadias Irish bar. Our favourite restaurants were H.O.T cafe, Dragonaro Chinese and Pepino's for their pizzas!!
This resort has a great atmosphere and is not to busy even in the height of season.
We only went to the beach once and that was when we were on the Olu Deniz boat trip (which is good but its a very long day!!) - water is crystal clear but the beach is quite pebbley.
Would definately go back to this resort.

Hisaronu is a fairly lively town with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. It's busy enough to keep you entertained in the evening without being too 'club 18-30'. There are a couple of clubs but it's mostly late bars.
The nearest beach is Olu Deniz (the best beach in Turkey!), a 10 minute bus ride away. Buses run from the town to Olu Deniz very frequently (every 5 minutes) and cost around 2.5 lire (one way). At the beach you can also go to the Blue Lagoon (there is a small entry fee).
For a good Turkish kebab go to BeachBoys on the main road,
Zombie & Timeout are good bars.
For day trips you can do a jeep safari, paragliding, boat trip, Turkish bath, amongst other things.
Boat trips are fantastic and great value for money, usually around £10 for the whole day, including lunch. Carol & Tayan boat tour was brilliant.

The town of Hisaronu has changed a lot over the years but there is still something for everybody if you take the time to look.
You are set up high in the mountains and are a 10 min bus ride from Oludiniz and Fetihye ( opposite directions ).
We did many excursions which included scuba diving, jeep safari ( do not go if you dont want to get very wet ), microlite and boat trips, but there are many more things on offer with so much history that we found 2 weeks are just not enough!.
As a base i cannot reccomend it highly enough as the temperatures are a little lower and the breeze is great after coming from one of the lower lying towns.
The resort at night is really lively but there are still plenty of resturants that are quiet and you can have a relaxing night in.
All in all a fab place we will be visiting again and again.
