Worth paying all inclusive for the drinks, but not the food. Expect to eat out occasionally.
Best rooms: Ground floor, facing the pool.

Ovacik is situated between Fethiye and Hisaronu and is also near Olu Deniz. Fethiye as a location is wonderful - a real working town rather than just tourists. Hisaronu is not my cup of tea, too many bars loud music etc but lots of people love it. Olu Deniz is a beautiful beach

hisaronu is a village up in the hills, very pretty village with shops and bars and clubs and restaurants all along the main street.they shut the road off a night and you can walk along the road, we have been coming here now for the past 3 years, only a bus away from the beaches, blue lagoon and private beaches.

Hisaronu is very lively village, very friendly, excellent for browsing & shop till you drop. There is so much to do, we did most things, Microlighting with FlySouth 10/10 for grin factor. paint balling, white water rafting 10/10 grin factor excellent times so many memories, jeep safaries, Saklikent canyon, OluDeniz blue lagoon, all the many island trips, sky diving, parascending great fun, dingo's jet ski's, horse riding, what more could anyone want ? Its a fantastic place for all ages to enjoy, surrounded by the mountains yet only a 5 minute dormus ride to OluDeniz & 20 minutes to Fethyie where the market is a must do experience !!!Beach facilities are pretty good, sun lougers & sun shades provided for a small daily fee, & never far from all the bars along the beach front & the best Kebabs i have ever tasted. Fantastic place for a holiday, have been going every year since 1999 sometimes twice a year, Love it.

Beach is actually in Olu Deniz.
Hardly any hassle in town.

We stayed in Ovacik which is mainly hotels and apartments. The nightlife is down the hill in Hisaronu. Plenty of restaurants, bars and great clubs open until the wee small hours. There is a good taxi service based there too. There was a free bus from the hotel daily, down to Billy's Beach at the lagoon. It is beautiful down there however it is row after row of sunloungers. Hire is 5 lira. There are bars and restaurants there and they are reasonably priced, given the captive audience. There are plenty of excursions that are reasonably priced too, generally including lunch. We did the Dalayan mud baths/turtle beach and a boat trip out of Olu Deniz. Total cost for both trips was £29 and included lunch (drinks are extra). Make sure your boat trip takes in Butterfly Valley. One of the lovelist places I've ever seen and I've been to Kauai! Having been here, I would not consider visiting any of the bigger resorts in Turkey. Beautiful landscape, great bars, friendly locals, quiet and lively when you know where to go. The best of both worlds.

The resort of Hisaronu is absolutely brilliant with such a wide variety of bars, clubs and restaurants for you to choose from! i would definately recommend shanghai blues chinese restaurant, the turkish ivy, the vineyard and also for partying definately time out, grand boozey, zombie and hustlers! the staff are brilliant and know how to have a good time and get everyone involved! I would definately recommend Hisaronu to anyone, families, couples, young people, old people. I have been coming here ever year for 7 years now and i'm still not bored!!

What can I say about Hisaronu after 16 visits? I love it, it's like visiting friends. Would recommend Big Brother for eating, Errols for buying jewellery and Harmony Bar for a wee bit of boogying.

Ovacik is quieter than its sister resort of Hisaronu, although it does have a host of bars shops ans restaurants. a 5/10 minute walk into the centre will find an array of eateries offering every conceivable menu. Closer to the hotel I can recommend the Chill Out garden restaurant we obviously had quite a few meals there.
