Worth paying all inclusive for the drinks, but not the food. Expect to eat out occasionally.
Best rooms: Ground floor, facing the pool.

Hisaronu was great!! I went with my partner and we had a great time!! All the locals could not have been friendlier! Granted you couldnt walk up the street without being asked to go in restaurants and bars but you get this everywhere but in hisaronu they are not allowed to leave their premises so they cannot man handle you which they do in other parts of turkey, but just be polite, say hello and tell them you have eaten and they leave you alone.
We loved Hisaronu because it was very quiet and relaxing during the day, we often caught the dolmus down to olu deniz beach which is really nice the only problem being it was a bit harsh on the feet as it was shingly but a pair of beach shoes sorted this fine (hideous but did the job). Then you could make what you wanted of a night, there are plenty of great restaurants and a good selection of quiet bars, lively bars and clubs. We tended to make our way to the club in that order but sometimes didnt make it that far because we were enjoying the bars so much!!
All in all we had a great holiday and if we ever went back to Turkey Hisaronu would be where we chose!! Brilliant!!!

Good choice of bars, restaurants and tour operators. Plenty to do in surrounding areas many with pick up from hotel. You can do boat trips, horse riding and jeep safaris. Do try a Turkish bath!
The beach is only a dolmus (mini bus) ride away to the beautiful blue lagoon.

Local bus service 80p each way to Fethiye, Alu Deniz, Hisaronu, runs every 10 minutes. Taxi service have fixed rates and you can always get one. Tours are very cheap, you can go on a boat trip for a full day at only £5. each. You can hire a quad bike, buggy for £25. per day. Moped £12. per day. Be very careful if you go to Kaya beach - a nice lady will show you to a sunbed and tell you its free, then she will show you her restaraunt, we had a peice of chicken with salad and 2 cokes, when the bill came it was £23. what a rip off, so dont be like us and fall for her charm.

Great location, lots of brill bars/clubs and resturants.
There was also a mini fair.
Oludeniz beach was lovely although it cost us 15 lira for two sunbeds and an umbrella, id advise you to buy jellies to wear in the water too as theres lots of stones in and just outside the water, the beach also gets VERY hot as you can probally gather.
Lovely place though, would def go back again.

I've always liked Hisaronu. Its set up in the hills, and when I brought my family here, they loved it too. Its not far from Feithye with the popular market and harbour, or Olu deniz, with the famous Blue lagoon. There are acitvities to suit everybody, and we particularly like the boat trips. Restaurants, bars, shops etc are open late, and Hisaronu looks quite pretty at night. People are very friendly, but being blagged into every establishment you walk past can become a bit tiresome. The beach down in Olu deniz was really nice as were the views. The sea was so blue, weather fantastic but very hot. The only thing that spoilt the beach unfortunately, was the incredible amount of cigarette ends. As an overall rating, we would say the resort is excellent. We will definately be visitng again next year.

When we ventured out we were greeted by lots of people who wanted to know our names and where we were from. It was really good as everytime you walked past they remembered your name. The restaurants we visited had some of the best food I have tasted, the bars were all really lively and the staff working in them were very friendly. Not being to Turkey before I was a be worried by some of the stories I had heard from people saying it was like Blackpool, Hisaronu was nothing like that. I would definately recommend this resort to everyone of all ages as there is something for everyone to do.

Hisaronu is the place to go for 18-30,which was not the case 10 years ago(our first visit). It is very built up now, great really if you want to party til stupid o'clock, but not really our scene.Resort clean, apart from all the dogs roaming the streets who constantly search for remnants of food.Beach is lovely,no wonder the 5-10 minute ride to Olu Deniz,is so worthwhile.Just proves the point of it being one of the most photographed beaches in the world-Do not miss it,even it it is just for photo opportunities as it is VERY hot daytime,no mountain breezes to cool you off.Hotel is minutes away from catching a dolmus to the beach and thats all that matters!
