Worth paying all inclusive for the drinks, but not the food. Expect to eat out occasionally.

Hisaronu was quiet for this time of year, but the bonus is they really want your custom, without being too 'in-your face'. We paid anything from 2.5L (£1) to 8L (£3 odd!) for a beer (just the once mind, we were drunk and unsuspecting that time).
On a cloudy Tuesday we went to Fethiye market, 20L by taxi or you can get a dolmus but cant really see the appeal to be honest, cheap tat and crowds if you like that sort of thing, although it is an experience I guess.
The food in Hisaronu was generally okay if unspectacular and still pretty good value. Expect pickled red cabbage, chips and (for some reason) carved cucumbers and/or tomatoes with everything.
The Efes bar, Nadias Irish bar Hustlers and GAP bar (Hi Jimmy) were our regular haunts. Good service everywhere though really.
Good inexpensive holiday, good if a little bit commercial resort and easy to get about.

The resort of Hisaronu is fairly lively, with a vast amount of restaurants and bars, all very friendly and helpful. The food second to none, and very reasonably priced. 3 courses for £6 sometimes to include wine. There were several bars, but as we have a young child, prefered to go back to the Orka Hotel for entertainment. The nearest beach is Olu Deniz and can only be described as being paradise wish I was going back tomorrow!!

We stayed in Ovacik near Hisaronu. We walked down the hill to Hisaronu every night and it is a pleasent 15 min stroll into town. The small town of Hisaronu has plenty of bars and restaurants which cater for all age groups. We travelled with 3 children ageing from 10 to 2 years of age and there was always plenty of things to do for the children including free pool tables and play stations.
Everywhere you went in Hisaronu everyone was was really nice, and friendly with the children.
We ate out every evening in Hisaronu and there is a vast choice of restaurants which cater for everyone's taste from English Fish & Chips, Pizza's Indian to the local Turkish Restaurants. My husband would certainly recommend the Turkish Barbers all men travellingto Hisaronu must experience one of the Turkish shaves.

The resort was great plenty of places to eat. The best place we found was a place called codswollops, they did all kinds of english food, and we ate there quite a few times.I have been to Turkey quite a few times, but this is the first time I have been to Hisaronu, I found it to be quite expensive, and they dont seem to want to barter with you. The market was on a Monday, but it wasnt very big, we were told that fethiye market was much bigger and a lot cheaper. We went on a few boat trips, and they were great, but be warned take pleny of drinks with you as they £2 for a can of pop,and about the same for and ice cream.

1st visit to Turkey, and loved it! Now we know why many won't go anywhere else, once been never forgotten! In fact we loved it so much we've booked again for August this year!
I week was not enough! There is so much to do, from horse-riding, boat trips, jeep safaris all of which are well worth doing as you get to see so much of the countryside with many of the tourist 'must sees' like Kaya Koy, Saklikent gorge and mud baths. Don't forget to try the Turkish Bath and massage for a wonderful experience!
Olu Deniz is a 5 minute bus ride away on the dolmus, do spend a day at the beach here, it is a must!
Can't wait to do it all again with the kids in a few weeks time!

The area around the Orka is very pleasant and suited best for couples, small groups (not those looking to rave all night) and couples. Day at Hisaronu has endless stretches of gift shops, cafe's and boutiques which are great and then replaced by the cocktail bars and small clubs at night. The market in Fethitye is a must, the stall owners however are very VERY aggressive in their sales tactics (if you shake their hand they will not let go) but not threateningly, and you must haggle them right down not matter how much you offend them (as i was repeatly told!), i got a diesel belt for 20lira which originally he wanted 80lire for!! great fun and a lot of bargains to be had!

at night the main street is closed to traffic making it safe to wander up and down the street and browse in the numorous shops and restaurants. The beach is a bus ride away which takes 10 mins on a dolmus. its a green belt area and there is a small charge to get into the blue lagoon. There is plenty of night life in hisaranu for old and young.

The hotel wa in a very quiet part but it was only 10 mins walk from Hisaronu, Dolmus very cheap if you could not walk. Few restuarants on the walk down and some in the town. Small but loveley
The beach is actually a bus trip away but one of the bet in the world.
