The apartments were a little set back but it was good (no load noise on a night) the apartments were very clean.

The staff were excellent!!! They could do no wrong. They made all of our party (12 adults 5 kids) feel welcome.

Jimmy Gogo and Kev were always there if you needed anything. The pool was great we all spent lots of time there.

The staff work hard to keep you happy. They even had a pool party and came in the pool with us which the kids loved.

I have already booked to go next year.

We stayed at the Akasya apartments with a large group of around 30 family and friends. Jimmy, Kevin, Jack and the rest of the staff made our holiday fun as they were so entertaining and helpful, we even got to pull pints behind the bar.

Pool area was excellent and you didn't have to get up early for a sunbed, plenty for everyone.

Food was really good, apartments were very clean although some of the rooms were small and dated. Four of our families moved room but it was not a problem.

Apartments were a little out of the way in the residential area near, 10 minute walk to the marina.

We would definitely visit these apartments again.

We had a fantastic time cant wait to go back and see jimmy, jack, Kevin, ilyas gokhan and the rest of the boys. x x x

We stayed at the Akasya apartments Marmaris.

They were clean but basic. Most staff were very good especially Spider and Jack.

We stayed in the hotel for some meals which were ok but had to travel for entertainment because we were not prepared to watch Michael Jackson impersonators for two weeks which were not very good anyway.

All in all entertainment 0 out of 10 wont be back.

For our first holiday in Turkey we couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay. The room was very clean - the cleaners were in every day.

We had a ground floor room facing the side, where there were cats and chickens in the garden, and goats across the road !

We woke up to cock a doodle doo everyday ! We went self catering but were having hotel breakfast, with the charge being put on our bill.

We spent plenty of time out and about away from the apartment, and were happy to come back to the apartment and spend time at the pool, having a drink, playing pool etc.

There are very good other facilities available if you want them at an extra charge eg hairdresser, massage, beauty treatments. We were told that in July the place is used for Dutch version of 18-30 holiday, but it was more family / couple orientated when we went which was good for us.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and we were able to have a laugh with them. They were hard working and couldnt do enough for us. The food we had was ok, nothing special but quite acceptable and reasonably priced.

This was our first holiday abroad which was just amazing.

The hotel itself was very clean as was our rooms they were cleaned every day with clean towels every third day.

We went self catering so we ate out most of the time but the hotel food was very good and reasonably priced.

The location was not too far away just about a ten minute walk away from the beach, shops and restaurants.

The hotel staff were fantastic, they could not do enough for you they all made sure we had a good holiday.

They have a turkish nite on a Friday with a BBQ,belly dancer and break dancing which is a good night not to be missed.

I would certainly go back to the Akasya and recommend it to anyone!

My cousin Allison and I with 2 year old neice Jamie jo stayed at Akasya Sept05. We had a great time, all the staff at front desk were very helpful, friendly and accommodating.

The chambermaids did a great job and visited our room every other day. The Chef prepared food to a high standard. the lads working the bar and the resident photographer were always cheerful, the gorgeous hairdresser( well !!!!! ) and SID who is just the nicest guy in Turkey, I want to mention the man who looked after the gardens, I cant remember his name , but he would chat to us each morning.

A central location, with town centre and beach only 5 mins walk away and a taxi service on the doorstep.

I want to keep this hotel/apts a secret because I want to go back there this year Sept 06 and probably every year after.

Just a great team...loved it!

This was our first time in Marmaris, we had a fantastic time the hotel was very clean.

We went self catering and ate out a lot but you could eat in the restaurant which was very good food.

The hotel staff were just amazing they were very friendly especially Jack the barman he would make us lots of special cocktails which we all enjoyed.

It was my daughters 10th birthday while we were there all the staff made alot of fuss, they got her a big cake sang happy birthday and Jack made her a big birthday cocktail, It's a birthday she will never forget.

I would most recommend akasya, we have booked up to go again, can't wait.

Hotel Marco Polo, Garda, Italy
Situated along the main road, with a very steep climb to the hotel, approx 1km from the town centre.
The hotel is very 70's in style, but adequately furnished and clean. 2 pools set in wooded areas, mean constantly moving around to catch the sun.
The staff are fantastic, and I'm not easily pleased. All speak some English, and try to hold conversations, which adds to the stay. The food is reasonable, 4 course meal each evening, ordered from a menu the previous night. Local wine is charged at around e10, and is e3 in the shop, but they have to make a profit somehow! Breakfast is only fair, but arrive early, as the choice is greater.
I would definitely recommend this hotel, as the plusses outweigh any minuses, and for the staff.
