The hotel is smart and clean but the surrounding area is dire. The hotel is ajoined at the back and the left side by two abandoned properties. This outlook is stomach churning. Both these properities have been left in a disgusting state and the pools are full to the brim with dark brown fetid water and litter of every type imaginable. If you were bitten by a mosquito from this source you would be hospitalised for a week. Because we could not stand the appalling sight, we moved out of the property and relocated at our own expense. We explained the situation to the manager and he understood our grievance. At his request we wrote a brief letter underlining the reasons why we were moving out. He wanted this letter to show to the local council to get help to try to get them to remedy this terrible situation. In conclusion give this hotel a wide berth.

This is a fantastic Hotel to stay at, we booked at 10pm at night and checked in 10am the next day. The rooms are very large with wood flooring and either 1 double or twin beds, free air conditioning, safe, tv, fridge, wardrobe, coat/shoe stand, dressing table, wall lights. we were on the corner so the balcony went acroos the front and round tha side of the room, there are 2 sets of sliding doors onto the patio. The bathroom is large and has a proper shower cubicle with water massage shower. everywhere is lovely and clean. the dining room overlooks the pool area, breakfast is buffet style with eggs, meat, salad, cheese, bread, jam, cereal, teaq, coffee and juice. there is plenty of food which is regulary checked and restocked, tables are constantly cleared and cleaned.
The pool area is cleaned every night and there are plenty of sunbeds, parasols, tables and chairs, if more sunbeds are needed Eran the bar/pool man will go and get more for you, Eran will also bring drinks and food to the sunbeds for you.
All the staff are very friendly and helpfull, the manager works long hours and is always asking if everything is ok and telling you to see him if there are any problems. The cleaners also work long hours to ensure everywhere is spotless.
We have been holidaying in Marmaris for 12 years and this is the best Hotel we have stayed at.
The pool area is cleaned every night and there are plenty of sunbeds, parasols, tables and chairs, if more sunbeds are needed Eran the bar/pool man will go and get more for you, Eran will also bring drinks and food to the sunbeds for you.

Just returned from a fantastic holiday at the 4* Alkan hotel.
The hotel was lovely and clean, it is only 12 months old so everything is new and upto date.
The shower is amazing, the rooms large and well kitted out.
The staff are very helpfull.
The food is nice and well presented.
The hotel is well positioned on the main road once all the doors are closed the rd noise is minimal, but if you email the hotel and ask for a room overlooking the pool they will try to oblige.
We will definately be staying there again.

This is a great hotel, its in a great location, 5 mins from beach there are lots of shops and bars within easy reach of the hotel.
The staff are friendly and helpfull, the rooms are large and very clean.
The bathrooms are large and the massage shower is great.
The pool area is kept very clean and tidy, with a poolside snack bar.
The food is very good typical turkish breakfast but there is plenty and you dont feel rushed, you can have as much food and drink as you want from the buffet style food bar.
The staff work very hard to ensure that you have a nice holiday and nothing is too much trouble for them.
There is a laundry service if you need it.
We will be staying at this Hotel again in the near future.
