george and dragon beach hotel marmaris.very good location,rooms small but clean and adequate,staff very pleasant and helpful, food in resturant very good ,only complaint is the music played to late into the early hours of morning

this is the apt not the hotel on the beach.alot of travel agents have mixed up the photos.this apt is good clean large basic.dont expect a room with a view.we were facing another apt but the turkish neighbours were friendly.we could have moved but didnt bother as it was too hot to sit out anyway.the slide at the pool is now gone.passport pizza is now gone but it has been replaced by the george and dragon pool bar,there is a discount for using this.you wont get a discount in the george and dragon on the corner as it belongs to diferent owners.they said they may be changing the name anyway.the location is good.the beach is just down the road but make the effort to walk a little further to the right and you will get free sunbeds.they do expect you to buy a drink though.keep track of how many drinks you have because they can be creative over the amount you have had.the air conditioning will cost extra but it is worth it.i would come back and stay in this hotel.its cheap so dont expect too much,it it though good for the money.if you want 5 star pay for it and dont complain about cheap hotels,if you want more,pay more.

The G and D apartments are located about a 5-10 minute walk from the G and D beach hotel. The apartments are next to huge traffic light crossing, surrounding hotels are the Maxwell 2 and the Swallow. The location was fantastic. 5 - 10 minute walk to the Beach front bars and 15 minute walk to marina. As it is on a side street from the front it is very quiet at night time.
The apartments are huge and well equipped by Turkey standards. There are 4 floors and a lift. The shower is fun, it goes between hot and cold some days!
The maids come in every day and bedding is changed once a week. IF you want more bedding just ask at reception. Reception was lovely, couldn't do enough for you.
The apartments have a pool which is an ok size and a slide! The slide is good fun for adults and kids. One of the perks of staying at the G and D apartments is you get discount at both G and D restaurants and pasaport pizza at the apartments. You also get free sunloungers at the beach at the Beach hotel.
