In need of a little t.l.c. they made best of what they had.Tiny balcony , sea view if you craned your neck. Prone to power cuts, but that is Turkey. Perfect location out of front door onto free beach and at night staggering distance from night clubs. Bar Street further afield. Breakfast plentiful if not unappetising. Beach food overpriced as were drinks. Staff charming, but aren't they all. Buyer beware. Entertainment loud and lairey.

The Green beach is a fantastic hotel, situated right on the beach front, and only a 10 minute walk from the town centre.
The rooms were nice and clean with new flooring and had also been re painted and looked very nice. The room consisted of hairdryer, fridge, wardrobe and draws lots of lighting and a balcony.
The entertainment of an evening was fabulous with belly dance shows, break dance shows Michael Jackson shows, the shaggy show (impersonating the singer shaggy) and many many more.
The food was lovely with lots to choose from and very fairly priced. the staff were very helpful and friendly and always willing to help as best they could.
Overall I had such a fantastic time I have booked to go again and I cant wait.

The hotel at 3.00am looked ok as we were tired and did not want to start complaning until after we'd slept.
Room one was nasty. Dirt under the beds, around the skirting dusty and dirty and it would have been nice if we had the rest of the door frame to fit around the door.
There was a pull out bed in the room if you could call it that. I think my nan passed it onto to them about fifteen years ago, horrid.
This was not a so called 5* hotel so we made one of our first phone calls of the day to move out .
But we had to wait to 2pm to change rooms.
Room number two.
Again the room looked clean as we seen the maid just come out so we moved in and went for our lunch.
Again we were very impressed. I have not had food as tasty as this since school dinners.
Please be advised to take Tums or Settlers with you.
If you do not like alot of choice you will love it here. Myself, went to the hotel pool bar to have burger and chips as this was about the best you would get.
Going back to the room, we had the air con on for ten minutes and it stank of toilet waste. After a while, we were sat on the bed and lumps of ice started to fly out of the air con.
There was blood on the sheets. Hotel staff gave me the wrong safe key again.
The room again was dirty, and most impressive was people walking into the room while we were in a not so funny position as the hotel staff thought the room was empty??at night time.
I was sick due to the smell of drains.
Last room.
As we missed two days of our holiday we opted for room 3 which was the best so far, only, when you filled up the sink the plug came with it. There was no plug for the bath.
This time the room stank of mould and stagnant water, the bathroom and room plugs were either coverd up or they would not fit a euro plug. Last of all, if you lean on the sink it would come away from the wall as it was not drilled to the wall.
To sum up...
Last day we had a drink by the pool before getting changed to go for dinner. On the way to our room we were attacked from behind, all I can say is we walked to our room the next thing I remembered was an English man trying to help me to my feet from the pool of blood I was laying in.
I fell about 12 feet onto my face.
In the meantime my friend went for help, a mini van came to pick me up .
To cut a long story short, we decided not to go to hospital as no one spoke English. There was no proper first-aider to hand, it was diabolical how we were treated.
We are now back in England and my friend has a fractured skull and the brain is bleeding.
Thank you to the Green Beach Resort for making our one week holiday a nightmare.

The bar staff, especially Bobby and Barish were fantastic and made everybody feel welcome.
This was my first time staying in this hotel and I loved every minute of it and I am planning on visiting this accommodation again in the very near future.
If travelling to Turkey try these apartments as they are right on the beach front and have a pool which becomes a seating area at night.
They have live entertainment every night and all the bar staff join in and try to get as many of the guests, both adults and children, to join in also.

Well when we arrived we were shown to a room that had supposedly just been cleaned. We were in fact given an attic room and every time my husband stood up he banged his head on the eaves. There was just enough room to walk around the edge of the bed. The pillows has no cases and were covered in mould. The maid just laughed and said not to worry as she would get us some pillow cases.......hmmm excuse me but I am NOT having a mouldy pillow at all whether it has a pillow case or not! The bathroom had a shower with no tray and no curtain so could not be used as it was so tiny and would have soaked the whole bedroom. There was a tiny balcony but the furniture was covered in rust so we did not wish to use it.
We paid for half board but could not have eaten the food at this hotel - it was laid out on tables with no means of keeping the hot food warm nor the cold food cool. It was swarming with flies too. I was absolutely distraught at the thought of spending our holiday here - it is rank!
I complained to the receptionist who said there were no other rooms available. I refused to accept this so the manager was called - after much argument and me embarrassing them by talking about the state of the place very loudly, I was moved to the hotel next door - I think it was called the Sun Gezgin and this was so much better. we had a lovely room although still did not eat here as I'm sure they share a kitchen with the Green Beach.
The other downside is that it was not nice to see all the waiters lined up on sunbeds sleeping there all night. They don't treat the staff well at all and they have no proper facilities. You don't really want to see the staff sleeping outside when you look out from the balcony.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone no matter how cheap you can book it for. I have been to Turkey many times and this is the worse one I have ever come across.
