The hotel was brilliant. The rooms were great with plenty of facilities. The food in the restaurant was excellent and (with the notable exception of one member of staff) the staff were excellent. They were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We had a two year old boy who became a real hit with all of the staff and I commend their enthusiasm and helfulness in making our holiday a holiday to remember. If we ever save up enough money again, we will definitely be back. However, as mentioned above, one member of staff was rude on occasion and only really approached us whenever he wanted to hustle a bit of money off us. The entertainment was second to none. The Turkish Night was excellent and the staff themselves provided a level of entertainment that was second to none.

The Villa Sol Apartments in Armutalan on the outskirt of Marmaris was a pleasant and enjoyable experience. We were told by our son and his partner that the place was not very good, but when we went, the place had been upgraded and we were very pleased with the facilities, entertainment and food. Maids kept our rooms spotless and supplied clean fresh towels every day. The young, lively staff did everything they could to make sure we enjoyed our stay and encouraged us to take part in all the fun, well done lads.

Well where do I start with Villa Sol omg!!! It was my first time in Mamaris in June 05. Enjoyed it so much went back September 05 and stayed at Villa Sol.
Like I said where do I start its amazing. Rooms basic but very clean. The staff there were fantastic made up for the basic rooms.
We went back in June 06 again to guess where??? Villa Sol!
I would recommend Villa Sol to anyone who wants to have a good time.

Villa Sol Aparts, Armutalan District.
On the day we arrived Sammy was 30 & the staff decorated the bar & allowed us to put pictures up. They were so friendly & helped to make her night one to remember.
Two of the party had stayed here in October 2004 & were unsure about returning - we love Marmaris, but weren't over impressed with Villa Sol. We have to say though that we all had a brilliant time - Thanks Guys.
Saucy Albert with his half Monty, Sweet Bilal with his cheek & the Gorgeous Tim with his big tasty cock tails are stars - missing you already.
Only been home 3 days (in rain) & hope to go back really soon. Xx

Very basic.. all that you need... Somewhere clean to sleep & a hot shower... Staff very friendly, hello Tim, Sherif, Albert & the gang.. If you want somewhere very friendly for breakfast, try new york cafe over the road.. and Troy next door for shaves, manicures, pedicures, haircuts & tattoos...

It was my first time in Turkey, but my partner has been going for the last 14 years but his first time Marmaris,
The staff were first class, hi everyone. Albert was a a star and Tim cocktails were mind blowing Sam you were a star too lol have just returned home 4 days and have booked to go back in sept for 2 wks can't wait.
I'm glad we stayed in Armutulan it was a lot quieter that Marmaris and only 5 mins away on the dolmus.
Turkey is the place for me.

Me & my two daughters satyed at the Villa Sol Apartments in Armutulan area of Marmaris.
I was very apprehensive about this oliay as i was going myself with with the kids.
The apartments where great the staff ever so friendly they honestly couldnt do enough to make our stay as enjoyable as ever.
I am definitely going back there next year wouldnt miss it for the world.
We ate in the hotel several times and the food was good...Lived on English brekkies most time though....
Cant wait for September next year...Villa sol here we come..

The Villa Sol is brilliant, very clean and friendly staff.
Food is fantastic well presented and a varied menu.
Location is great 5 mins from main town Marmaris by bus.
The hotel staff just made our holiday, with special thanks to Engin who really looked after us. All the staff are brilliant and we can't wait to return to see them all again.
Every night we were entertained with great music from Victor the DJ and dancing from all the guys including the chef (he was great).
Can't wait to go back best holiday yet. Thanks to all at the Villa Sol hope to see you all soon.

When we arrived the receptionist (SEX PYSTOL) was very helpful as were Remee and Murat (my wee honey).
We were shown 2 our room which was in the basement brilliant sized room very clean and 4 comfy beds. My mother in law father in law and 2 others were on the 1st floor, there room was very good 2.
The location was excellent everything you needed was just over the road.
The food was delicious (thanks chef) the staff were absolutely brilliant couldn

Hotel is situated in a small resort about 5mins from Marmaris. I would recommend the food at this hotel.The staff try very hard to ensure your stay is enjoyable.
Entertainment is by the staff and they try their best.I would suggest that you catch the Dolmus buses that pass the hotel every 2mins and go into Marmaris for a more varied nights entertainment.
The bus costs 40p per trip, long or short. Don't expect to eat and drink cheaply,they are wising up to us Brits. A pint of beer in resort is 3YTL or more.(1YTL=40P).
Dont miss out on a Turkish Bath, visit the one in Armutalan. When we were there in July it was very HOT!. The waiter told us that this particular day it was 46c.
If you do book these apartments, request an apartment with a bedroom. The studios are in the basement and are not recommended.
