We had an excellent holiday at Sun City. I couldnt really fault the Hotel for cleanliness. The food was fine. Ok it wasn't always piping hot but then again it was self service buffet style. I am a bit of fussy eater but there was always something that i was happy to eat. Yes it would have been nice to have an alternative to chips. One of the tables next to where we often sat for our evening meal was always reserved. We asked the waiter who it was reserved for and he replied "The boss and his friends" we noticed that both the manager and his friends ate exactly the same food as was given to all the guests so the food couldn't have been that bad.

The location of the Hotel? What more could you want you had the back drop of the mountains behind you and when you sat within the complex you would not have been able to tell you were less than 5 minutes to the resort centre and the beach.

If you wanted to go to the private beach a courtesy bus took you there for free where the sun beds and shades were also free, Yes you could only have juice and sandwiches free on the beach.

For the main part the staff were friendly and helpful except for behind the bar. The short lad with spiky hair seemed to take being miserable to an entirely new level.

The entertainment was mainly by the hotels animation team who did their best. There were shows from outside professional entertainers and these were on the whole very good.

The sunbeds. No one took a blind bit of notice of the 9.00am curfew so if you wanted to find a sunbed you had to get up early.

The hotel was allegedly full in our second week and I still found that 7.30 am was early enough to just about allow you to select any plot you required. One word of warning we were in a new block on the ground floor and the back door isn't always locked when you think it is.

After arriving in the early hours of the morning and then getting up for breakfast upon our return we found our room had been entered and my wallet stolen. As for getting a courtesy room forget it I didn't know of one person who got one.

There were plenty of older teenagers for our 16 year old children to make friends with and they thoroughly enjoyed their holiday. All in all it was an excellent holiday and
I would definitely return providing the price was right.

Stayed here for 10 ten days and can say that we all had a wonderful time.

The rooms were basic but kept clean by hard working staff. The facilties are really good.

Food is buffet style and can get a bit repetitive after a while but even my fussy son found something to eat each day.

Previous reviews referred to poor bar service but we had no problem whilst we were there.

Trying to get a sun bed was very problematic as have to get up very early. Sign by pool says should not be reserved before 9am but no-one takes any notice and it is not policed by hotel - one morning people were reserving them at 2.30 in morning!!!!

Piece of advice if on a late flight home then pre-book late room as no courtesty room available have to get ready in Turkish bath!

The entertainment team work very hard and at times are very amusing.

I would recommend this hotel for a great family holiday.

Went back to the Suncity for the second year running as the family had enjoyed them selves the first time round so you think why not!

The hotel is set in a lovely location sort of apartments dotted around the very well maintained gardens the room we received was very spacious and spotless.

The food was well presented and a lot of choice although it was nice to get out and eat elsewhere.

The hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful.

The entertainment was very much the same as last year and it did get alittle boring the biggest down side to it all is the sun beds!!!!!!. I found my self doing something I vowed I would not do and that was getting up at any time between 6 30am and 7 00am. You couldn't go back to bed even, as some one would just nick your beds. I suppose the answer would be the hotel police it better and us English stop being greedy and take two beds per family.

Overall a very good holiday and would go back again in a few years time

Stayed at Sun City hotel from 8th of June for 2 weeks
Can only say that we came up trumps with this hotel.

Cleanliness was second to none staff came in every day to clean room and make beds, any towels that were used we placed in the bath and they left clean towels. sheets were changed every 2/3 days.

Around the pool you had to get beds by 8am to ensure getting a place even though there is a sign saying no towels on beds before 9am.

Pool was great but if there are none swimmers you have to keep a watch on them as our 7 year old could not reach floor in shallow end.

Small pool for children can get crowded
Entertainment staff worked very hard to keep both children and adults happy with pool games, darts etc

Restaurant was very clean and always well stocked with a variety of food although could get busy on evening and we had to wait forr table a couple of times.

Would recomend if you are booking to ask for a upper floor room with a garden view as basement rooms were very dark and seeme to attract mozzis. Rooms with a view of the pool very very near to the nightly entertainment and although it finnished by 1am I would of thought you could get early night if required.

Evening entertainment staff worked very hard but although kids loved most of the shows they were very low budget.

Only gripe about staff were that barstaff were not the quickest and were prone to inoring on occasions.

Overall we would recommend this hotel and have no problems revisiting.

We arrived during the evening; we met up with 6 relations, who had travelled out with another company.

We found the hotel very clean, (rooms and public area's,) the grounds were very well maintained and really nice.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The one disappointment we had was breakfast, as we all like full English and this did not happen. Having said that all the food was very nice and we adjusted. The tea and coffee was grotty, from the bar as it was always served in plastic cups.

The location was good a nice stroll to the town centre or beach.

Overall we thought the hotel was excellent and would definitely return.

The hotel itself was lovely it was very clean.

There was no entertainment at all on for our first 3 days they till I complained on our 3rd night they did put a quiz on and that was it the next night they put bingo on.

Our kiddies aged 7yrs and 3yrs were so bored on a night on our 5th night they put a kiddies disco on.

We would visit this hotel again the rep stated that it had just opened on the 1st May the day we arrived but that

We visited this hotel in May Bank holiday week and the hotel was full. Getting a sun bed around the pool meant getting up very early (everybody seemd to ignore the "no towels on sub beds before 9am" rule!). The pool area was very full every day with little space between the beds.

The hotel is a good standard but we would describe this hotel as a 3+ star not 4.

Rooms are kept clean but the towels and bed linen are only changed every three days.

Staff are extremely friendly and very helpful.

Entertainment staff have a go but don't expect too much. the sketch show one night was not family friendly so beware.

Food was good, plentiful with lots of variety. Dine early or late if you want to eat outside (which is the only place to be when it's hot as there is no air conditioning inside).

Our kids(9 and 12) loved the hotel, made lots of friends and they were very safe in the complex so we did not see very much of them all week.

If you go on a night flight don't expect a courtesy room especially during school holidays.

Overall a great holiday and was value for money this year although seems to have gone up in price considerably for 2007?

We have had the best holiday ever, what a wonderful place we booked the day after we came home to go back next year. Are boys aged 12 and 9 made so many friends the resort is very relaxed and in beautiful surroundings.

Staff are all very pleasant and keep the complex very clean. Access is limited to the upstairs bar for buggies.
The entertainment is good during the day with games in and around the pool but if you want a holiday were your children are entertained all day this is not for you.

The night time entertainment was OK but it would of been nice to see a few more outside acts. But the entertainment staff themselves were all wonderful people.
The food was very good although breakfast was a little basic the honey more than made up for that.

Yes you do have to get up early for the sunbeds but we never had a problem getting them.
Although all inclusive we never had any problems getting served drinks even the children.

If going to book a trip or have a Turkish bath (which is a must) go and see Ahmet (to the left of bloody gorgeous).
Private beach is fine if you like beaches the pedalo's and canoe's are free to use and very good.

Spent half term week at the Club 'Sun City'.

Everything you read about the sunbeds is true, against my own beliefs I found myself getting up early to secure a spot by the pool, this is particularly frustrating as there is ample room for more beds around the pool. This is the only negative thing about the hotel, the staff, grounds and food are all great - the hotel is kept spotless.

Breakfast could be better but its typically Turkish.

We didn't watch the evening entertainment but did join in during the day - Oscar is a good guy who the kids love but at over 6ft tall you don't wanna come up against him in water polo.

Hotel location is great

The only thing which spoilt my holiday was watching the behaviour of my fellow Brits who believed that as they were AI they had to start on the Vodka at 10.00am - a young boy in our hotel was actually assaulted by a member of a large party who wrongly accused him of bullying his 7yr old son - To witness such behaviour from an 'adult' was shocking - I hope this man was pleased with himself - It didn't make him look any bigger which is a pity as he was only bout 5'4
