The Flamingo Hotel is situated off the road to Hisaronu about 5 minutes walk from the beach front and town centre. The hotel reception greets you as you walk up the entrance driveway. There are 3 separate blocks, containing apartments, family rooms, standard rooms and deluxe rooms. We opted for the deluxe with seaview. We also booked on a b&b basis. Our room was very spacious with en-suite bathroom, usual shower, sink and toilet. We also had a large double bed, a small balcony overlooking the gardens and pool and a sea view in the distance!
The maid service was excellent, cleaned every day, with freshly laundered towels.
There are 2 pools, the upper in the shape of a turtle with plenty of beds, the second located near the reception and bar/breakfast are. The turtle pool also has a bar, with shaded seating to sit and enjoy your bar snack, they do a graet chip butty!
Breakfast is served outside on the terrace adjacent to the lower pool, usual braekfast of eggs, toast, meats, cheeses, olives. Also enjoyed by hundreds of wasps. That said, the waiters constantly strove to keep the wasps at bay, all the plates covered with cling film. Coffe was excellent, toaster good and copious amounts of fresh yoghurt and honey. The evening meal looked good, again all buffet style but plenty of hot dishes, although we did not eat in the hotel at night, preferring Hiaronu as the restaurant choice was better thab Olu Deniz and much much cheaper. There wee several evenings of entertainment, Turkish Night, Bingo etc, but we opted for the bright lights of the town.
A very nice hotel, well laid out, good service, good food, what more could you want. Would certainly recommend. Dolmus to Hiaronu/Fethiye at the end of the hotel drive.

hotel was lovely, quite small but good as we spoke to other guests all the time and made some good friends who we still keep in touch with. rooms very clean and maid service good. All the staff were lovely and if you spoke to them and had a laugh with them they really looked after you. entertainment once or twice a week but we found that you didn,t want to spend all your time at hotel at night. round the pool during the day was a laugh as staff got a game of water polo going with everyone. really good laugh but i suppose it depends on the holidaymakers at the time........we had a really good bunch of people there and had some excellant laughs at night.........kept the bar open as long as we were drinking. I would recommend this hotel as it is just a good size, you can keep yourself to yourself if you choose but there is a good chance you will mingle with guests and hav a laugh if you choose......couldn't fault it....very sad to leave.
