Location
The food was really nice, especially the B.b.q!
The hotel was clean, with cleaners in every day!
Entertainment was good with a magician, Belly Dancer and Fire Dancer. These were more for the younger generation or older generation. Nothing for the teenagers!

We were not dissapointed ,Zeki who we have known since our son was a very small boy [come to think of it Zeki wasn,t much older then]was absolutely lovely and great fun .My son had a wonderful time with all of the barstaff Ozzy, Romeo, Ersken[eric], Nigel .Ferdt on Reception another lad I remember from years ago was really considerate and good company. His bingo night I will never forget,it was extremelly funny.
A special mention for Mehmet a waiter in the restaraunt who was areal gentleman and gave many hours of genuine conversation time to my father
Food was excellent and well presented. Rooms were adequate and kept well by the Hotel staff
The location was really lovely and ideal to stroll out at night

Drinks were more expensive than the place I stayed last year, but still less expensive than english. The hotel staff were extremely fast expecially the cool receptionist :).
The only 2 things I didnt like where:
The "Entertainment"... Belly Dancers werent all that good. The "Magiction" you could see what he was doing (n00b).
The other thing i didnt like was:
"Todd" The guy deserved to be fired, I caught him swearing at my son, and chasing a little boy for turning the lights off.
The adults pool table was brilliant, but the children when i stayed at the hotel were mature with the table, but previous children had ruined the tips of the cue, and the pockets of the table.
Some old fasioned football game wasnt used much, but there was a dart board installed in the childrens room which was pretty stupid because it was only the kids who went in there 3-15 and by the end of the day darts had to be replaced, and with 3-15 yearolds injuries could had of occured.
There was a ping pong table which was great for everyone, but once again, it being in the kids room the bats were broken.
The only reason I wouldnt visit the hotel again is because I never would with any hotel, id like to visit different places of turkey.

The Karbel is certainly one of the best hotels we have stayed in, if not the best. The hotel is very clean and the food exceptional. Oscan the restaurant manager is so friendly. He lent us his car one day to drive to Patara beach (voted the best beach in the world, although we didn't think so) even though he hardly knew us. Thank you for that.
All the people in the hotel were nice. One criticism would be that the pool area got overcrowded at times and we struggled sometimes to get a sun lounger.
The hotel is situated in a beautiful location but that can be said of most hotels in Olu Deniz.
If you have not been to Olu Deniz or Turkey before you will have a great holiday. The place is so beautiful, so much to do although it is certainly not over commercial. It is ideal for couples wanting a romantic holiday.

The staff were wonderful, brilliant 24 hour reception which was very helpful, we arrived in the early hours of the morning and the opened the bar especially for us to have a drink.
The cleanliness was brilliant the rooms were always clean and tidy.
The food was excellent especially the snacks at the pool.
The staff were really friendly and would go out of their way to do anything to help.
The location was also excellent just a brisk walk down the road. With an excellent selection of bars and restaurants. Number one bar in Olu Deniz is Crusoe's recommend this to anyone, and number one restaurant Antiques.

The whole holiday can only be described as fantastic, floating around in the pool surounded by mountains para gliders floating down from the skies down to the beach. Heaven.
We went half board, only missed one meal when we ate out at the Italian on the seafront for our 10th wedding anniversary. Hotel food was the best we have ever eaten, all credit must go to restaurant manager Oskan (extremely nice gentleman) and all his staff from the excellent chefs to the very friendly waiters in particular our fiends Memmet and Zeki.
Our rooms were basic but well planned out, they were cleaned daily, the towels and bed sheets arranged in patterns and sprinkled with blossoms from the surrounding vines on the balcony, excellent maid staff.
The hotel was only a five or 30 minute walk from the main beach, the walking time depending on weather you went straight there or stopped on route to visit the many friendly shops and barbers to purchase goods or just to chat to the fiendly owners.
The hotel staff were absolutley brilliant, reception staff were very helpful, safe deposits were behind reception.Bar food and drinks very well priced and all paid for by the credit card system, which works really well.Very special mentions must be given to the following people although all the staff were superb.
Many thanks to Fred the resident photographer, very clever and fiendly fellow, thanks for our wonderful photo's. Oskan, Memmet and Zeki, restaurant manager and two superb waiters many thanks. Handi,Bar staff Nigel, Eric, Romeo and Romeo, plus of course little Willy, Eric's brother who was very good with the children. Last but not least the very superb and brilliant pool bar manager Zeki, this bloke did every thing to try and help everybody enjoy their holidays, thanks for the many memories playing Water Polo, Pool, drinking cocktails, etc, We hope this hotel can retain the services of all its present staff.
We have given this hotel a five star rating for its entertainment program, yes we have stayed at hotels with grander shows etc, but the staff here tried so hard to please us, how can we ever forget the Quiz night followed by the childrens disco dancing, belly dancing nights,(food to die for, chocolate profiteroles etc), pool competion, bingo, happy hours, water polo etc, etc etc, brilliant effort by all, led by the superb Zeki.
We did hear that this hotel will be refurbished in the winter break, the pool is to be changed from it current 3 pool, 9ft, 5.5ft, 4 ft format to a one pool format, some of the rooms our being upgraded, tv's etc, and sadly we did hear that the restaurant is being moved downstairs from it's current 1st floor position, which has a great view of the street below(Zeki, waiter will be gutted, only joking Zeki).
Lastly we would like to thank all the super people that we met on this holiday, All the lads and lasses from the water polo games, Clive, Charlie, Isobel, Mandy, Rob, Lorna, many more names can't recall till I see the photo's. Trevor Day and wife, we never did get your wife's name trev, Fiona and Tes, and of course our very special friends Nicky and Dave,(thanks for two super weeks of friendship, it made the holiday)and all these super children who befrieded our son James,Elice,Danny(Dan Dan),Jack(what time is it),Bradley (cooldude), Roxy, Jes, Tes, James, Harry(Haribo), and of course my little mate Harry from Norwich (photos will be in the post Harry).
Over all, this holiday is right up their with our best holiday ever, thanks to all the people mentioned, who knows we may well meet again. ***** Holiday.

Pool was very clean and more than enough sunbeds to go around. There wasnt too much of people leaving towels on sunbeds & then going out for the day.
Didn't eat at hotel in the evening apart from the BBQ night with the belly dancer but breakfasts were Turkish in style with plenty of choice and enough to set you up for the day.
If you told us before we went that the entertainment was going to be along the lines of Bingo and a Pub Quiz we would not have been impressed however the staff got everyone involved and it became like our own little club.
We have always said that we would never return to a place we had been before but this is definately one we would consider for the future. Hopefully given that Olu Deniz is in a conservation area things will not change too much in the future
