My friend and I stayed at the Karbel Hotel and I must say it is the best hotel I have stayed in. The hotel was very clean the maid was lovely and we too had flowers arranged on the bed by her.
The food was excellent wide choice and not a chip in site! The waiters were polite and friendly nothing was too much trouble.
The location is excellent with a lovely walk past the shops to the massive beach where we lay all day in relaxing surroundings.
The locals are friendly (a bit too friendly sometimes) but in no way intimidating.
We travelled by taxi most nights to the next village which is lively. We liked a bar called 'Time out' - great staff.
The Karbel could do with a bit more entertainment in the evenings but then again the bar staff did dance on the bar a few times which was great fun!
