Location
Residence restaurant is much quieter than the Village one we found this preferable.
We found Full Board+ basis preferable to All Inclusive, you can still get beer and wine with your meals, but you don't have the problems associated with the drinking culture that can develop in some All Inclusive resorts.
Grounds and cleanliness standards in the resort are impeccable. Only complaint we had was that our room wasn't cleaned until ~ 16:00 hrs. If we had mentioned they would probably have done it earlier though.
Hotel food excellent. Went to the Turkish restaurant (Sofra??)with some friends we met. We left though, as we got bombarded with wasps.
Staff very friendly. Residence restaurant staff were outstanding.
Entertainment is to a very high standard.
There is an aerobic studio down the seafront (under cover) but it is not the sort of place where you would give step or anything a bash on holiday, pretty serious stuff.
Night shows are to a high standard, very enjoyable. Only complaint on the entertainment side is that there appears to have been some problem with British teenagers in the past, which may account for the following. Our daughter is 13 and the teen club runs from 13 - 18. Most of the teenagers appeared to be at the higher end of the scale 16 - 18 and were not Brits, who made up ~ 25% of the guests. She was never approached to attend the club and the feeling I got was that although not excluded, she was not going to be invited. You know what teenagers are like and I'm sure they do as well. There were a lot of British kids her age in the same boat and fortunately she met a friend after a couple of days to pass away the hours with. A resort this size and quality should cater better for this group.
One surprise for me was that the Under Manager is a Scotsman (Mike Mitchell) who is the current Mr Universe. Surprised I had to go to Turkey to find this out. Well done Mike.

They provided my wedding requests as I wanted and made my day lovely. The only thing that I wasn't happy with was the taxi prices to Olu Deniz and back

The hotel is huge and has its own little buses to take you around the complex. There are a few number of steps so if like us and you had a child in a buggy it could be a pain.
The rooms are lovely, we stayed in the village and the ground floor room was split level. Not very toddler friendly and there are steps going to the rooms.
Really clean place, very safe and secure. Kids club and activities are fantastic. Baby kitchen open 24hours and has microwaves, sterilisers, free milk (carton), food processors, high chair. Take your own bottle brush though, also little plastic bowls so you can take food from restaurant and blitz in the blender. Staff are so friendly and helpful.
Downside is the beach, it is pebbly and I recommend beach shoes to go into the sea.
The drinks can be expensive and since its all on a card that you settle at the end you can lose track.
Our tip - settle your account at least twice in your stay.

and very clean.
We had a little noise first week second week it was very noisy when it got busy.We found we started going to Olu Deniz a few times at night for meals as they got a bit boring and cold as it was buffet style.
The Italian restaurant was a bit ott and was not very busy as a result, very poor choice too .The restaurants also moved about the buffet areas so that limited your choices too.Pools were cold but were varied and our daughter loved the childrens pools but again cold.
It was only

The entertainment was great and there was always an excellent variety of food available throughout the day with three different resturants to choose from!! As we never seen much of our rep. the hotel staff were always happy to help.
The poolside games held by the entertainment staff were brilliant and nearly everyone wanted to get involved.
We will be revisiting this hotel again!!!!!!

The rooms are good the best rooms to go in are the family rooms, DO NOT BOOK GARDEN ROOMS and if you travel with Thomas Cooks get them to ring customer services to verify the room you are in is not a garden room, THE GARDEN ROOMS ARE TERRIBLE.
We have booked the residence this year for a change. A word of advice all drinks are on a card system get the reception to check the card is empty on your arrival and make sure the room phone bill has been deleted from the previous guest as we had drinks on our card we hadn't had and 2 phone calls to the room all we didn't use and we didnt pay for, my advice is check your card every 2 days and phone bill.
Also if you have kids watch out for the kids club saying your kids have made t shirts YOU GET CHARGED FOR THESE tell the kids club staff you don't want t shirts and reception.
There are 2 childrens restaurants, village restaurant (free)residence restaurant(free) marina restaurant (free).then la luna(italian)* mandarin(chinese)* sofra(turkish)*neptune(seafood)*these four have a reservation charge of about 4 euros but are worth it even if you only go once(we went to italian 4 times).
The kids club is fantastic-opens 6-2 years 09.00-1200 15.00-1800 1930-2230(free)2-7 years 09.00-1830 1930-2230(free) 8-12 years 0900-1830 1930-2230(free)13-18 years 1100-2400(free)are you all still awake?
Archery is great and free, canoes are free, the childrens paradise is a paradise for children in itself and the free bus drops you outside the entrance, the resort is so big it has 2 buses, 19 tennis courts the list is endless.
Take beach shoes/aqua socks as it is a shingle/sand beach.
Well i'll leave it there before you all nod off have a good time when you go and I hope I have been of help to you all, Dave and family.

The Staff were wonderful and the place spotless.
The food was really good and for me to say this is very unusual. The entertainment for children and adults was also brilliant.
The only drawback was that the drinks at the bar were very expensive.
We will certainly be going back and I am already trying to book for next year

You can't go to Lykia World and say you don't like it there. I love the Turkish people. They are so nice especially this one boy that lives in Lykia World because his parents work there. I luv him!!!!
The night club is well alright and the food is like, amazing. There is something different every meal and if you really wanted, you could eat from about 7am to 10pm nonstop.
The pools are really nice, and the jetskis are fantastic! It is so much fun there. So if you are planninng to go to Turkey, You should stay here!
