The foyer to this hotel sets you in the mood for a good holiday, we stayed in a jacuzzi suite whitch was clean tidy and well presented with AC in the bedroom and the living area which works for 18 hours a day.

Seemed to work all day though, there is a king size bed which is a little stiff on the back for me but Im fussy. Plenty of wardrobe space, and a couch which doubles as a double bed which has plenty of room also. There is a mini fridge in the room which can be filled by room service via the phone its of average price if you dont want to leave your room

The hotel grounds are spotless, I cant fault them, room service is from on a door tag system put the tag on your door and your rooms cleaned !

Food is of good quality, you wont starve and there is plenty of choice. Nothing spectacular though !

Hotel is all on its own you can get a taxi into local village for 7 lira about 3 quid. Staff just do there job. Reliable and curteous with no anoying characters.

Entertainment is on a family level. Something for everybody. You will struggle to get bored if you go for a week without kids.

This is a must for well mannered families a real peach of a park !

We have just returned from a family vacation to Pegasos Tropical in Sarigerme, Turkey.

Here are a few pros and cons.
PROS
The resort is very well maintained.
There is a wide choice of food.
There are approx 10 different pools so you don't feel crowded.
There is direct access to the beach.
The beach is quiet.
Check in / check out - very easy.
No restrictions on pool toys. you can use lilos, balls, etc.
Entertainment reps are very good and enthusiastic.
Kids clubs are well run.
Fresh fruit and salads are superb.
Plenty of sunbeds availible.
No need to bring any towels at all.
Great climate.
Efficient airport.

Cons

There are very few showers around the pools and they do get dirty.
Rooms are very dissapointing. Family room is 2 twin beds and a sofa bed which will give you back ache.
Kids seemed to be very prone to illness - take anti sickness medicine with you.
Very few of the staff speak any english at all.
Rum not included in all inclusive.
Service in main buffet restaurant non existant - you will end up clearing your table and laying it yourself.
Free wine very poor.
Themed restaurants are a waste of time. Very poor food.

As you can see from the above there are more pros than cons. It is above average just but is not a high quality resort. Worth going to if you can get the right deal, but make sure you shop around. Kids enjoyed it and occupied themselves. Most of the adults found it lacking in most areas - i.e. accomadtion, foof, drink and service. Nice family break but you will not feel spoiled.

Beautiful complex that was kept very clean. All staff hard working.

Typical AI food - buffet style that became repetitive but you will certainly not go hungry as there is something for every taste.

The 'resort' is in its infancy and there is very little close by except for a small village that holds a weekly market (Sundays). however there is a lot of new development planned in the near future.

The Entertainment team work extremely hard and do their best to keep it varied and entertaining. A few more professional acts wouldn't have gone a miss though!
Having said that the kids would never be bored with activities going on all day and evening.
12 pools over the two sites, lovely gardens, plenty of shaded areas and loads of sunbeds and mattresses.

Only 20 mins transfer from Dalaman.

I would recommend it to families with younger children as there is little in the way of entertainment for teenagers.

We had a great time but probably would not go back.

We have just returned from the Pegasos Palace after having a fantastic family holiday and we all wish we were still there and are seriously considering going again next year.

The hotel is very clean and the staff work long hours to keep it that way and are very friendly.

The food was very nice and always lots to choose from.

The kids clubs are great and my lots loved going to them when they could drag themselves away from the pools which are fantastic and also kept very clean.

The in2action team at the hotel are fantastic and I would let your kids try the high ropes if they want to mine loved them also two of mine did judo lessons at the tropical and loved them to thanks to Paul and Claire the instructors.

The location of the hotel is very remote but that didn't bother us as there is so much to do and the village of Saregarme is only 5 mins away if you do want a change.

The mozzies are bad but bearable, Sin Kov seems to distract them.

The only downside there was to this holiday which was nothing to do with the hotel at all but my 19 month old daughter took her Winnie the pooh bag with her everywhere and unfortunately it got left at the bar/pool one day and someone stole all her treasured toys from it!! Some people can be cruel, obviously she is very upset so if that person reads this.. thanks very much!

Anyway to those of you yet to go I envy you, you will have a brill time.

I was a bit apprehensive going to a "Holiday Village". Particularly with the bad reviews already posted from 2005.

On our arrival I was immediately impressed with the Hotel Reception area. This set a very good standard for the rest of the holiday. We checked in with no fuss and a bell boy took our bags to the room.

The room maid kept our room spotless for the whole 2 weeks. The grounds of the complex were also spotless. Food was pletifull with a good choice every night. There was approx 4000 guest spread between the Palace and Tropical.

The staff seem to cope well the number of people. Didnt have to que up too long for a pint and snack. The Palace Hotel is a mirror image of the Tropical, only the Palace is bigger with a lot more quests. Take me advise and book yourself into the Tropical side.

Plenty of pools and sunbeds (luxury not having to get up at silly oclock to throw a towel out). The childrens club was brilliant. We could have thrown our little angel! into the club 5 times a day if we wanted but my conscious would allow it, but we did throw her in twice a day. Luxury having 3 hours to ourselves. The First Choice Childrens Reps did a brilliant job.

The evening entertainment was great for the kids, not so good for the adults but there was plenty of bars you could do a pub crawl. Overall the First Choice staff and Turkish staff do a marvelous job.

If you have a young family take my advise and get yourself overthere. Brilliant !!!

We stayed at the Pegasus Tropical and I have to say it is an excellent hotel.

The rooms are spotlessly clean the maid service is fantastic. If there were any spillages around the hotel they were cleaned up straight away.

The hotel staff were lovely very polite and helpful.

It was a bit remote but in a taxi it took about 5 mins to the town which was ok with a few shops and bars.

The entertainment staffs also worked very hard and were excellent with the children.

Im not sure if I would visit this hotel again as Iribostar will be taking it over so First Choice will not be there

Arrival was something of a farce, the plane from Cardiff was around two hours late and so we arrived in our hotel room at around 3.30 a.m. on Friday 28th. There were a few problems; notably that the air-conditioning was not functional. After four visits from optimistic no-hopers, the hotel finally dragged a decent engineer out of bed. He bypassed the on-off mechanism (the hotel does NOT enable the air-conditioning 24 hours a day) and so ours was permanently on for our two weeks! There was no shower curtain, no hangers for clothes in the otherwise adequate wardrobe space. We requested a different room when we first arrived but were told that, even though we had not unpacked, this would not be possible. It was daylight and around 6.00 a.m. by the time the room was acceptable. We

Well we have just returned from 2 fantastic weeks at the Pegasos Palace this is my account of our stay there (we were a family of 4 also with us were some of our other family and some friends so in total 6adults 4kids and 1 baby)

HOTEL:
Beautiful hotel always spotless staff are always sweeping up and keeping everything clean and tidy you never see many dirty things left for too long.
Nice and cool and air conditioned inside the hotel.

ROOMS:
We had a Jacuzzi suite and were very happy with it, nice spacious room with all the facilities you need the bedroom was separate from the main living area which had a sofa bed, TV and fridge in it.
Separate air con units in living room and bedroom.
They come on as soon as you put your key card in the room and we always found it to be cool.
The maid we had was really good our rooms was always spotless with fresh towels....we gave her a nice tip which she thoroughly deserved.
Jacuzzi was just normal bath with jets in it which to be honest we didn

Our family have just returned from the Pegasos Palace on the outside it is a beautiful hotel with gorgeous gardens but at meal times it was like Butlins or a school canteen!!

Our children were ill for 4 days each and needed the doctor along with approx 30 other children and First Choice management who eventually showed their face said that 30-40 children being ill did not warrant there being an issue!! Apparently this bug was present two weeks before we arrived as environmental health from the UK were flown out but we along with many others were not told about it so beware!!

Sun loungers and umbrellas are a problem as are cushions because people take them to their rooms with them in the evening! The food was ok but repetitive and the hotel shops will rob you so go into Sarigerme where they are very nice and a lot cheaper our sofa bed was riddled with insects so check it before you get into it!

apart from the weekly market I found everything quite expensive make sure you wear something on your feet on the beach as it gets hot and with the stones you'll get cut.

Oh yes there is a lot more than 500 rooms I'd say closer to 1500 it's a big resort with approx 4000 guests between the Pegasos and the tropical good luck!!
