We’ve just stayed for a long weekend. When we arrived the receptionist was very helpful and made us feel a little more relaxed as this was our first ever holiday with our children (15 months and 4 months) we were lead to believe the entertainment would be appropriate for younger children, dancing meeting the characters ect. We were very excited for this! Unfortunately this was not the case, we arrived before 6pm every night and it was just awful. No real ‘kids’ music for them to dance too, not one sign of the character mascots advertised. As you know most kids want to dance and play, the dance floor was tiny and most was tapped off for production use which I thought was awful, there were a load of children 3 and under who just got frustrated and upset as they didn’t understand why they couldn’t dance. Of the loud noises scared the younger children, several of us walked out as it just kept getting worse, It was very disappointing.
On a more positive note I will say the caravan we stopped in was beautiful and there wasn’t a meal on site we didn’t enjoy, especially the noodle bar!
Just due to the lack of entertainment and inclusion of younger children I don’t think we’d come back until they are at least 5 as I believe this is where they may be best catered for, but even then I would suggest the entertainment is looked at as it really wasn’t the best and doesn’t give the true Haven holiday experience.

Booked 5 caravans for 10/06/24 for 4 nights, all was spread from one end of site to the other end, I did request to be in same area but was told that I should have paid extra £20 per caravan for this. Having paid over £1100 I feel our request could have been accommodated. 4 bronze & 1 silver caravan booked.
One caravan had to be re-cleaned twice due to sticky floors etc and a lingering odour. Silver caravan has a balcony which was full of seagull mess which cleaners must have choose to ignore which eventually had to be power washed off. 4 caravans had no entertainment passes left inside.
The bar in Mash & Barrel served flat beer, never any lemons. Only ate there once. Tables were not cleaned after diners so just to have a drink you would have to clean the table. Carousel bar was only open for bingo. The entertainment lounge was incredibly loud and rowdy.
Not a lot on site for under 2 year olds not even a soft play area, the area on site says 4 - 7 yrs.

Absolutely mortified with how dirty and run down the caravan park is. Rubbish everywhere, kids parks are dangerous due to holes in the floor and park falling apart. The entertainment rooms are filthy, need a new carpet and a good clean. The so called “signature restaurant” is appalling, the food was horrendous and actually made me ill after. Not worth a penny, really dissappointed and ruined our family holiday. The caravan we stayed in was terrible, everything falling apart, and no first aid kit when my daughter fell and hurt herself. Wouldn't recommend his place at all, even all the lazy river etc..was closed, kids were disappointed. Rubbish holiday.

Arrived here in late October '22 which admittedly is getting close to end of season. We have no complaints about this privately owned caravan of which we thoroughly recommend . The Presthaven site however is totally geared around young children and there is little if anything in the way of adult entertainment The site facilities/dining/take-away /bars are of somewhat dubious nature , mainly over-priced and often looking tired and neglected. Because of this we can only recommend the actual accommodation and beach and dunes areas as well as Talacre which is but a reasonable walk away with some excellent facilities.

We booked a private hire caravan which was excellent, it was clean and comfortable. We chose Presthaven because of the swimming pool. As we were private hire I was told over the phone, weeks before, that we could not pre-book the pool slots.. when we arrived at the site we paid £130 for 3 day pass for 2 adults and 2 children. The receptionist told us that would allow us to use all facilities including swimming pool. We walked 3 yards from the the reception desk to the booking desk to be told there were no swimming slots left for our stay. We were told that we could queue for the 6 - 8 o’clock session for the the pool which is a first come first served session. This was for swimming pool only not the lazy river. The queue for this session was ridiculously long by 5.30 so we decided it wasn’t worth it as they only let 65 people in and the queue looked like far more than 65 were waiting. We asked about a refund but was told it was not possible.
We paid £130 for a pass to go into the entertainment room ONCE which was so noisy and just bingo and karaoke on first night so we didn’t stay long. On our last morning we paid for go carting and golf (so that’s in addition to our £130 pass).
The reception desk should communicate with the booking desk before they tell customers they can book the pool if they have the passes. If we’d have known we couldn’t use the pool we would not have bought the passes. We did not need them. Feel like we’ve been robbed of £130.

Amenities closed for lunch, during school holidays, when the site is fully booked. Adult evening entertainment was not a scheduled.
Avoid the on-site chip shop, atrocious service, food was inedible, extremely rude staff.

Just got back from my experience & having read the reviews of Pontins, steerage as I thought, Presthaven Sands, the upper side of the tracks, I do believe I dodged many bullets there.
Me s/c apartment was really good, but entertainment was none existent for adults. Not every one can win them all ?

Been for a short break here for a few days caravan lovely, kids loved there show at night, staff pleasant enough, find it strange that security play on bandits in 18 part whilst in uniforms,

Went here for two weeks but only stayed 8 days the caravan we had was a private one and it had everything that we could ever wanted it was cosy and beautiful inside and on a quite area the only thing wrong was the park, it gone down hill since last year and all l can say is l will not be going back which is sad because l have been going for many years, it is rubbish now and the man in the spar shop needs to learn some manners he is rude to the customers and needs to be dismissed from his job without customers he would not have a job anyway. The buildings need painting and the club could do with a new carpet and a good clean. The washing machines smelt horrible and far to expensive to use for £8 per wash and dry. The chip shop is very expensive too, all l can say l will never ever ever be going back to this horrible park.

Don't waste your money coming here everything about this park is horrible, dirty carpet in the club the smelt of beer gone off, no open space between the caravans, washing machine and drying far to expensive, fish shop the same, haven are only happy ripping people off that's what l think, park gone down hill since the 1990's. Haven needs to do something about this park quick will not be wasting my money coming here again, it will be going to Devon cliffs next year Rhyl is a awful too, don't ever go to North Wales it's rubbish.
Hotel tip: No longer would not recommend this park to anyone what so ever, don't waste your money going to Presthaven sands there are better places to go l think!
