Thanks for the reply. Think i will pre book before we go, just hope that you are able to pick which days the boys can go.

You'll be there at the same time as us. We are a family of 6 (kids aged 18 (yes a big kid), 14 and 12 year old twins.

We are going to do a couple of trips - haven't decided which ones yet, but will be booking them with Mustafa after all the good reviews on this site.

Hope you have a good time once you get to pegasos palace. Are you in the palace or the tropical?

my son is in bed right now but i will ask him how much the pool and bowling was before he goes to school in the morning and post the info.

i got back on the 10th, it was hot in turkey obviously, but much less humid than it is here so easier to deal with, plus you have a pool to cool off in whenever you need to.

Good news about the extra mattresses, that was one of the few things letting the hotel down.

there is internet access, in the same room as the pool tables and bowling, but amazingly i managed to stay offline all week so i have no idea how much it cost.

hi thehargreaves,
we didn't have any problems queuing for drinks or food :D , in the evening we tended to eat on the ouside terrace upstairs so never saw what it was like downstairs only went their for breakfast and then only queues were for omlettes and pancakes and they weren't very long. They also don't have a kid's buffet upstairs. Entertaintment wasn't bad but didn't last very long usually finished between 10.45 and 11pm.

Hi haley/john,
Yes it was very hot when we left always having to go into the pools to cool off, there are plently parasols but there is also the large sun canopys that have sunloungers underneath.

It's a great place to go on holiday and my children thought it was fantastic and if you say please and thank you which don't cost anything to do the staff will go out of there way to help you. Everybody going will have a great time the food is fantastic the weather great and the pp one of the cleanest places we have ever been.

If you go on to firstchoice on internet and click on to holiday villages then click on to kids activities the price and times and days are all listed on there . I know football is run on either 2,3,4 days training ranging from £29 up to £55.00.I pre booked my two into stage school for 8 hrs and its spread over your two weeks in two hour sesions for £60.

Good Afternoon everyone

Not long to go now 3ish more days.

Just a quick question to those who have been before. I read that bellboys fetch your cases to your room. is that with all rooms or just select ones? Also do you tip the bellboys? Not sure what is acceptable for tipping and I don't want to embarrass anybody, including myself.

Cheers

it's all rooms.

on the day we were leaving, we had to vacate the room by 12 noon, but the bellboys were knocking at the door just after 10.30 to see if we were ready. to be honest it put a bit of a damper on the last morning of our holiday, i felt like we were being a little rushed. They called twice and each time we said we weren't quite ready. We left the room at 11.30 in the end and started to take our cases ourselves, they're on wheels so no big deal, but we met one of the bellboys on the way and he took them off us.

sorry, i forgot to answer the bit about tipping. I gave him the change from my purse the day we arrived, i think it was only about £1.50, i felt a bit tight but other than that i only had notes on me, he didn't particularly seem to expect a tip. when we left i didn't tip, partly cos i had left all my change in the room for the room maid, and partly cos i was in a bit of a mood cos i had felt rushed to leave.

We have just returned from the pegasus tropical instead of Kos, the hotels are very clean and so are the rooms, i hope those of you that are booked into jacuzzi suites are expecting a full size jacuzzi as they are just jacuzzi baths as a lot of people when we were there complained about this.
The jeep safari is an excellent day out best one by far it costs £24 per adult children 0-6 go free and kids are £12 i think. The meals on this excursion are very nice but unless you like eating fish with a head and tail stil attached i wouldnt recommend!!! Also the pool where you swim at the restaurant is ice cold one guy ssid he thought his heart had stopped when he jumped in.
The family cruise is also a good day out.
I would advise that you take english money as they prefer this a lot more than lira as they get a better exchange rate over there at the min it is 3 lira to £1 they give you.
If going on trips take english money to pay for them as firstchoice give you 3.22 lira to the pound but the banks are only giving 2.78 as the exchange rate.
In sarigerme the village is very nice quite small there is a cash machine in the back of a bus!!! which was installed 3 days before we got there and this is the only cash machine for 20mins from sarigerme it doesnt accept electron cards when we tried so use debit or credit cards.
A taxi into the village costs around 7lira each way and there is a big market on a sunday with lots of bargains to be had.
And dont forget to take £10 each to get into the country if you give them a £20 note for 2 people they take that as payment for 1 person.
If anyone wants to know anything else pm me and i will try and help if i can.

Hello,

I am new to this forum - going to PP on August 21st :D.

I am also new to all inclusive holidays. How do you do the watersports? Is the kayaking on the beach - do you just grab a spare kayak?

What is included in AI?

Can you tell me a bit more about the Family cruise and like what sort of things do they do for the kids, how much it is and what day they do it on please :)

The cruise is £20 for adults and free for 0-7yrs the kids reps do face painting and colouring, when we stopped for swimming our reps swam off to the other boat so i wasnt impressed with that but the days itself was great.
The drinks were 1lira for water, 1.5 lira for pop and 3lira for beer i think they also sell crisps for 3 lira. The dinner is nice they had chips salad chicken and some meat things didnt try them wasnt to keen on the look of them!!!
The pancakes are 4 - 5 lira dependant on which hut you go to, and there was an ice cream boat but he is very expensive but when its so hot you just buy them.
As for the kids clubs they do not open in the tropical on a monday evertyhing is in the palace, and there was only a 1 week rota so they were doing the same stuff for 2 weeks. On the monday before we left they started making people book in for the sessions the night before and i think you had to go to the palace to do this in the evening.
The watersports are payable locally on the beach, and the sand gets extremely hot so be careful.

the pool tables cost £2 for half an hour

Bowling is £3 a game between 10am and 4pm, and £4 a game from 4pm to midnight
