i was just taking a look at the photos posted on here of the pegasos palace, and was amazed at how much had changed between the time most of them were posted and our holiday at the beginning of this month. The gardens are so well established now and the place looks tons better, so don't be put off by the photos if you are looking at them before you book.

I also remembered something, when watching the shows in the amphitheatre if you go up onto the wooden balcony overlooking it, (the steps are at the sides by the entrances), usually you will find some proper seats and tables, you have just as good a view of the show, and you are not constantly having to move your drink out of the way of the kids running up and down the rows of seats.

Have good holidays all of you heading off tonight and in the next few weeks.

I just want to clarify the temperature out there at the moment. A previous post said 140 degrees which is 60 Celsius - this seems a little on the high side.

What is it? It says on the bbc website 35 Celsius which is about 95 degrees. Is this correct?

Hi everyone,

Could you tell me if tap water after boiling is suitable for drinking 2-years old? Or I will have to buy bottled water for my lo?

Thank you.

I am going next week with my baby who will be 1 on tuesday.
I was told the water that is available around the complex (from the bars/drink stations) is suitable to give to my baby aparantley it is in large bottles attached to coolers or something.
When do you go i can tell you how i got on my return if you like.
I dont think the kids drinks they supply are suitable thou but if yours just drinks water you should be ok, my baby dosent like water so i bought some powdered stuff from boots and am going to try and take a bottle of special R if i have space.

someone who has already been may be able to tell us if i am wrong butr thats how it was explained to me.

i wouldn't like to recommend it for a young baby, way too much responsibility, but my sons, ages 10 and 8, and myself drank the soft drinks from the dispensers all week with no bad effects, so i think they must be made up with bottled water. The lemon one was our favourite.
I don't know if these were the dreaded tang drinks that had so much negative press in earlier posts, but we certainly found them ok and i didn't notice the kids becoming hyperactive or anything.

Thanks Mustafa - you've put my mind at ease!!

Next question:- what TV channels are there in the bedrooms?
Reply
depends what room you get some people got bbc1 itv etc we only got all the news channels and mtv it really is the luck of the draw.

we had bbc1 from our own region, it was really weird watching the local news on 'points west' when so far from home. That was really the only channel we watched, just to catch up on news each evening and to watch some football. We also had Turkish MTV, I think there was an american news channel, and a few others, nothing very exciting.

Hi Barmik

I will post a full review in the review section on my return, if you want to know anything specific after im back please feel free to PM me im back 18th Aug.

Viv did you mean you wouldnt give boiled tap water to a baby or the stuff that is part of AI?
Would you give them the juice or is it not sugar free?
I have packed some sugar free stuff anyway to be safe.

Thanks
Vicky

P.S thanks for his birthday wishes!!!

Does the shop at the PP sell reasonably priced shampoo, conditioner and other toiletries? I was thinking that I might save some space in the cases (I could always take another pair of shoes!! :D ) and buy what we needed when we get there.

Thanks
