We just missed a wedding when we were there last year but the set up looked very nice, i'm sure you won' t be dissapointed by it - it looked quite romantic.

when we were there (25 May - 8 June) there was a wedding more or less every couple of days. We walked over to where they were held and everyone is right it does look beautiful. It even had it's own little bar. The evening receptions were held in the upstairs area on the outside terrace. The table always looked really nice and they decorated the bride and grooms chairs with big gold bows on the back which looked lovely.

I am positive you will all have a great day and holiday. :ghug

does anyone know if the hotel provides towels for the pool or not just so i know what to pack. 6 days to go for us

YES they do provide towels ,when you arrive they will give you towel cards as to how many is in your group ,and when ever you need towels for the pool you go to a little hut near the pool and sign for the towels and give the lady your cards ,when you have finished with them return them and you will get your towel cards back.you can get them clean everyday and the towels are in good clean condition.

Have they got enough towels for everyone or do they tend to run out at a particular time?

Also, as we are going to PT (only 6 days to go) do they do the same there?

At the Palace at the beginning of July there seemed to be plenty of towels to go around, but the towel hut does close in the middle of the day, and by 6pm in the evening. If you lose a towel card it will cost £10, (thankfully we didn't!).

For a £10 deposit you can also get a 2nd room key. We found it useful to have 1 each, but also you could leave 1 in the room so that the air conditioning and fridge can stay on while you are out.

Thanks for that

I'll pack some hangers 6 is not enough for 1 person never mind 4 in a room and i'll go buy a travel kettle and tea and coffee at that price it works out short of 50 quid

hi there kaz, just to let you know that if you ask at reception they will provide you with as many coathangers you need.they also do a laundry service ,you have to pay but it,s great if you run out of clothes or the kids splill things they are laundrered and pressed and the maid will take them and fetch them back.they provide you with a free safe and sewing kit and there is hairdryers in the bathrooms.

Thanks Wade

That will save a bit of room in the cases. You would think we were going for a month the amount we take

The laundry isnt cheap though it costs about £2.25 to clean just 1 tshirt and nearly £2 to wash underwear etc

when you get to the hotel don,t stress about your cases the bell boys will fetch them to your rooms, and don,t miss out on the jeep safari its great if youre taking the kids they will love it .its the best trip to stay cool out there ,we were there last week and it was 140 deegrees hot hot hot,but most of all don,t forget the mozzi plugs sprays creams everything they don,t half bite you. the rooms do have mozzi nets on balcony doors ,but the rooms get sprayed every month and you,ll see atractor at night that drives up and down spraying this stuff to kill them off (it,s ok it,s not harmfull to us) you,ll probebly want to stand in front of it after been bit so many times.apparently the hotel is built on an old swamp thats why it,s so bad. anyway have a great time we did ,it,s a great place with plenty to do.
