i was beginning to think you had forgotten about us, there have been reports of food poisoning at the p/p & p/t, you have probably read back a few pages so i wont go into details, with the village being so big i think there are bound to be a few problems but that does not excuse first choice brushing the problem under the carpet, on both times we have been there the food was lovely and i know you liked it too, there were alot of problems last year that they seemed to sort out so hopefully they will sort it out again, have you thought anymore as to where you are going next year? hope you are all well

2 days to go.
Lol I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time!
Going to pp next thursday for two weeks and up to about a week ago was really looking forward to it until all these bad reports started coming in about food poisoning, but we are going to go and hopefully not get it and really enjoy ourselves after all got two weeks off work what can be better than that :D. Got a couple of questions tho could anybody tell me if the jeep safari would be ok for a 4 year old? I know my 9 year old would love it and also sorry if its of topic but do them plug in mossie repellants work and can you also buy citronella candles out there and if so where?
i'm sure you will both have a wonderful time, check your food to make sure its cooked and i'm sure you'll be ok. did'nt see any citronella candles (we bought some from sommerfields) we always use the plug ins and did'nt get bit in the room! one tip for you both make sure you are wearing mozzie stuff before you get off the plane as they will be waiting for you on the coach!

I got a load of citronella candles off ebay. They were very cheap and arrived quickly.
Personally, I wouldn't take a four year old on the jeep safari, bit too bumpy and dangerous and I'm sure Mustafa has agreed with this in the past.
You will have a fab holiday, don't worry. I realise a lot of my recent report may have a sounded a wee tad negative, but we really did have a fab time.

I couldn't agree more with what hayley/john said about checking your food first before eating it. You are all inclusive which means you can eat what you like, so cut the meat to check if it is cooked first, if not, go and get something else.
We stayed at the PP in June 05 when it first opened and didn't really have any problems with the food back then. The only time I had undercooked food was when I chose some meatballs. I chucked them away and got something else. None of us were ill at all.
If you're off soon, have a great holiday!
Will definetly be checking my food as you say I can always go back and get something else just hope the alcohol is ok as well. Looks like its just me and eldest lad for jeep safari that should be cool, has anybody tried the mudbaths?
Thanks
Richard
Hi scottishmum. glad you had a good time and did not get bitten. we stayed in a jaccuzi suite an i had to stay awake unil 1 when the loud disco finished. i would not mind if it was anything worth listening to. i would like to go back to pp but the only thing that stops me is the mozzies. i have been back home now just over 3 weeks and i still have all the sores on my legs. we have booked to go to club latoonia all inclusive over in fethiye. we go in october then and hopefully they dont have too much of a mozzie problem.

Does anybody know what time they serve meals till as we won't get to pp till about 11.30 pm could be a tad hungry by then. Thanks
Rich
They serve food in the restaurant from 11.30pm till 01.00,i think it was mainly the stuff that was left over from dinner,it was ok but if you`re hungry u`ll eat anything even what they offer on the plane ,enjoy your holiday hunny
I'm so glad I didn't get bitten this time either! My bites I got in May took about six weeks to heal, didn't help that I'm a picker though I have two big horrendous scars in matching places on the front of my shins from the blighters!
The disco I found a real problem, thankfully I'm a night owl anyway so stayed up reading til about 2 and my little boy who was sleeping in the living room went to sleep anyway, otherwise I would have asked for a move. I think it only really bothered the people who had suites overlooking the beach, as anyone behind us didn't seem to hear it.

I was just wondering whether or not the swimming pools are now heated as last year they were soooooooooooooo cold?
No and they're FREEZING!!!!
sorry to anyone going this month.. i dont mean to put you off, you will still have a fab time
Thanks I'm not going now
Lol, ,I still went in them though and if the weather is nice, then you'll appreciate the coolness of the pool.
I may have a wee dip depending on how cold it is
