ITBarbie, welcome home.
I was waiting for your review!!
I do know what you mean about the Violence/swearing, some of the Brits need to learn some manners and have a course on how to behave, but thats enough said about that one ay!!
Hope you are all well and enjoying the English weather!
I do agree with your review - I had a great time at the Pegasos, I really didn't have a problem with anything apart from some people. A woman went for me one night when I asked her to keep the noise down - she was dragging sunbeds up to her room at 1am.
Most people were fine but there seemed to be some dodgy people there and like you I have never come accross people like this on holiday before.
Maybe we were just unlucky??!!!
Maybe we are just too stuck up! I think not! HA HA
I also agree with everything you say, except i really do think putting the prices up will solve a lot of the bad behaviour (not all, i know, but most)
I have over 19 years experience in the travel industry, which also means i have been really well travelled for the same amount of time, but NEVER in all that time have i EVER come across a hotel with so many badly behaved, loud mouthed, foul mouthed people! we keep comparing this hotel to butlins in the sun, but im begining to think we may be doing butlins an injustice
I also think this hotel does not deserve a 5 star status, at the moment it is only a 3 star in my opinion due to the canteen restaurant and poor quality of food (and no i dont mean i want british food, just good/hot tasty food would be a start)
First choice have a lot of work to do here in order to justify the 4 star currently has.
Like we have said it is not a holiday from hell, but it isnt a fantastic 4 star complex either, if it hadnt been for the kids clubs, swim kids, stagecoach and soccer school then it would of been an even bigger let down.

why is every one giving this hotel such a bad time i went the 2nd week in september and never experienced any of the problem that you lot are talking about i had a great time, you should let people make up there own mind.I read the reveiws before i went and was a bit worried but i never see any thing bad maybe i went at a good time maybe i was lucky
penny you were very lucky then,i do feel people should be made aware of what they may encounter,so that they are prepared ,same as all the other reports about hotel, then if you see roudy people at least u can move away from them,(if possible)i sat and watched a man doing a robbie williams tribute he was great ,but 4 people who were sat next to me talked non stop througout his performance ,meaning myself and others had problems hearing him....sad !the thing is they were right next to the pool bar and could have sat there and chatted..grrrrrr..i dont think its like butlins,u dont see many parents letting there kids run riot mainly cause the drink is too expensive there!!!!!lol..i think the price could be a major problem with this place, but saying that ,it was all we could afford and wasent cheap when we booked it!!
Hi, yes thats your opinion which your entitled to and like the people who haven't given it a good review including myself are entitled to our opinion aswell. Thats what this is for good and bad reviews about holidays. I was very concerned about all the bad reviews before we left and i'm afraid to say most of them were true for which people need to know about.

the bottom line is, if you,ve got kids.....go, if you havnt..... avoid this place like the plague
i must admit though the food did get boreing in the second week and my kids lived off chips and pringles .Yes it is a fantastic place for kids, and i would go back next year but i hope they sort the kids menu out because its not very good and my kids are not fussy eater but they didnt like it at all.
Ok, so the food is not great, but this will no doubt get better given the feedback.
I read many many reviews b4 i went and was a little apprehensive to say the least, but enjoyed myself, had a fantastic time........etc...
im glad to here someone had a good time holidays are what you make them, tel you the truth i would go back tomorrow if i could i was sad to leave, but there you go .i think i would of enjoyed it with or with out kids.all i did see when i was there was people and families having a good time a enjoying there holiday.
hi, that is 1 thing which was brilliant the kids clubs. If it hadn't been for that i would of payed for a flight home early. They had a brilliant time with the clubs. And everyone who has written a bad or good review the kids clubs get a glowing review all the time for which they deserve and more. They should of done all the entertainment and i bet if they had it would of been all brilliant
We've narrowed our holiday now down to 2 villas to choose from for next year. We normally do our holidays this way but we thought we'd give a package holiday a go. Never again. I was ashamed to call myself british at the palace.
im looking at hotels with under 60 rooms. doesnt that say something about what we all experienced at this place?
too many people....way too many
nice pools very good kids club but what else for your money? however miy kids only went for the first session in morning never any more

my kids did,nt go to the kids clubs there ages are 12,7,3 they were to interested in the pools, but heard good things about them i tried to get them to go but no luck.
I think we have all experienced the same problem - suppose its one consolation - we never go to an all british resort again. It will be a shame because the Pegasus is lovely and lots of money has been spent on it. Don't let it put any of you off because you will still enjoy it no matter what.
Have to say, we experienced very few badly behaved people when we were there (last week of July/1st week of August). Yes I saw one particular family swearing at their kids and at each other, but they were the only ones. Lots of kids, helping themselves to food, and leaving hotplates open though. Yes, children were diving off the bridge, and climbing up the slides, but as long as I knew where mine were, and they were behaving appropriately, I largely ignored this.
This in no way, ruined our holiday. By the sounds of it, many of you, were in the minority of decent people when you were there!! Luckily for us, these people were in the minority, unless we went round with our eyes closed, but we never saw any of this behaviour.
In contrast, our friends came in our 2nd week, and were there the week we went home commented that perhaps it was 'cheap week' on this week, as they said it was full of undesirables!! Eg people smoking on lilos in pool and flicking ash in water, one woman got her dinner from buffet restaurant at 7pm and ate it whilst still floating on her lilo, with all the crockery from the restaurant at her sunbed! Thank god we missed this week!!
We had a great time overall, wouldnt go back for at least a few years, our main gripe was the entertainment, if we hadnt made friends, we would have been bored stiff of an evening. if we did return, probably only for 1 week, not enough to keep us entertained for 2, but the hotel, food and pools were great in our opinion!!
tried the italian and indian restaraunts, both excellent , but service a bit slow.
Drinks - have to stick to AI ones , waiters so eager to sell you Gordons gin etc , which you have to pay for.
I never got drunk there all the time we were there ( just got back tonight, 17th Oct, was there from the 6th) Waiters fill glass with ice , then a smither of vodka , then a ton of coke , get clever , ask for a large vodka and whatever !
No gangs of drunken youths , few scruffs in the dining room , saw one woman sat bladdered outside the reception bar vommiting , drinking, vommiting again , angie reported this to a rep , but they did nowt.
Evening entertaiment is shite , found the couple of live singers in the Royal bar the last few nights , they are brilliant, he is an awesome guitarist.
The place closes in a fortnight anyway , like i say , hotel was ace , weather was ace, food was crap , and we will return in a few years , hopefully changes will have been made by then , to make it a top hotel , it sure has the potential, under the right management. any questions , pm, will be happy to answer. oh , one last thing - the mozzies - never been bitten before abroad, these things are silent assains , coverewd in bites , gonna take weeks to clear
Hi, we went on the 22nd september got back on the 7th october
Hi All, I feel the same i have never seen so much badly behaved people in one hotel in all the time i have been going on holiday, i have phoned FC and said why are you reps and the hotel manager letting people get away with behavour like it, they need to ask eveyone to sign a code of conduct contract when checking in so if anyone gets a warning of the reps or mangagment they cannot say they did not know, out of the 9 AI i have been at i have seen 2 families get warnings for less than what went on at the PP, as for the food FC have said they are going to give the hotel a bigger food budget next year along with a british chef to try and turn the food problem round, i did not finf anyprblems with the way he food was cooked it was the tiny portions they gave you as the ffos=d area why they cooked everything in front of you, if FC still have problems in a few years time with complaints i can see them selling the hotel to their sister company Go Best in Germany, as most of the problems we encountered was the disrespect for the hotel and other guests, i would love to go to a small friendly hotel, but my children loved the pools and kids clubs and activities the Holiday villages give for them.
