Bugger, I have paid in totall £39.05 but sent it recorded delivery both ways like I did last year. Is this going to be a problem? Dose this count as registered post? I feeling a little worried now.

hotdog - did you fill the form in like you have done before and posted it?

I wondered because if you have only paid £39 including recorded delivery this was last years way of doing it.

You now have to fill in the form and pay online.

It says on the VFS Global that you can pay by postal order addressed to VF Services (UK) Ltd-Birmingham. I paid the £39.50 just for the visa as thats what it added up to with the 17% VAT. The post came to about £5.

I printed the new one out and filled it in. Put two photos in as well as the check, plus a self addressed envelope. My computer is temperamental and wan't survive the online payment thing. Is it going to be a problem paying like I did?

You have done everything right except the postage thing - maybe they will accept it - fingers crossed then.

If they don't they better put anything back in the self addressed envelope including the postal order so I can start again. If they don't I will never set foot in India again. EVER!

Hopfully it go's well and they give me the visa, and don't loose my passport.

VFS in Birmingham received my application last wednesday(1st October) but theres nothing on the online tracking, apart from when I created the application on the 29th September.

How long does it take to update their files or is it Indian time?? Beginning to get worried as we booked a few days in Spain from the 20th, and forgot the passports were away. :duh :duh

Irishcolleen - I put the form in with the passports etc..

I don't think there was anything important on it IC. Just a checklist and as long as everything was ok. Does it show on online tracking??

I didn't even know there was a checklist! I have got our visas so obviously it isn't important. Don't worry Irishcolleen
