Hi JTRENDEL,
if you go to the section where it says modify/retrieve, you put in your passport number and name and you can get back to your form.
JTRENDEL I am so sorry the forms are awful ...dont worry someone will know what to do ...
See there... squigs has it sorted for you the people on this forum are so kind xxx
Hi JTRENDEL, forgot to say you also need to put in the web reference number. Did you manage to get it before your computer crashed?
I am off to London tomorrow and have got to help my friend who had the stroke do hersalso my son is going for his PIO so we will probably go up to the IHC with him on Friday to (hopefully) get it!! anyone know if the queues are long for PIO as when we got ours it was little heard of and we sailed through but that was some years ago.... also
I might take my friends visa app with me and see if the queues are short in which case she wouldnt need to post it, what do you think? anyone know if i would stand a chance?
does anyone know if I can get my friends visa when we go tomorrow to IHC London (see above post) as she is very stressed about it, or would i have to take it elsewhere under new regime?

chilly
Chilly, I don't know for sure, but would assume that your friend will have to apply via VFS
Got home from work yesterday and my neighbour handed me our SD envelope with our passports in that she had signed for for us. It was a great relief. It took exactly 2 weeks from posting off to Birmingham for us to get them back.

yippee, glad for you smudger2 and grannypat x

Considering that they got the application on the 1st October- obviously on Indian time. But will I get them back to go to Spain on the 20th

hi im sure you will. keep the faith. youve got 10 days yet. reckon they will be back in 5 days
I'm going for three days...
Hi all
what a relief Smudger
Have you thought about getting an OIC (Overseas Indian Citizenship) instead of a PIO card ? ? Am looking at this route myself - cheaper and is a "life-long" visa plus giving you almost the same rights as an Indian Citizen bar voting.
Like I say still looking into this - but thought i'd mention it
cheers
Alfi
you bet we are relieved. seems like our passports have been away from our protection for ages now. at least we are in the system now and hopefully we will get them back with us + visas fairly soon (next week hopefully) and another year of worry will be over and we can get on with looking forward to enjoying another superb holiday in our beloved goa
smudger2

it'll be our first trip ...( if we get visa's) wish i'd never filled in the restricted area permit now)
why "beloved" just curious
beloved goa because its such a brilliant place. never been so relaxed as i am in goa anywhere else. apart from the visa fiasco the people ,the food, and all the other people that we meet are brill. met friends there that we still meet and visit here in uk in goa years ago.yhis is our 8th time to goa and we are going again in feb 2009. would have been 9 but broke ankle but thats a long story.
