Yes it would be great if we could be sure that the forms are never checked, putting your best guess on the form as smudger2 suggests would be the perfect solution. But Indian bureaucracy is renowned the world over, Jannerlilly may not want to take a chance on not getting her visa, and do a bit more research first.

I can be pretty certain that you can do what I have suggested as have just received my 15th visa. I have applied in the past through both London and birmingham embassies and this year via the new VFS route. NO problems!! 
hi all not been on for a bit , we down loaded our application form tonight and are ready to send them tomorrow do we send them to the vf services in birmingham we have aready payed by card and can we put the both applictions in the same envolope and will they be sent back in the same envolope special delivery, sorry not done it this way before any info would be great.

Yes to all of your questions, dont forget to sign the forms, make a note of your passport numbers for the online tracking and good luck
Make sure you send it to the VFS office that is the one dealing with applications for the area where you live.
Toe don't forget to make a note of the return envolope number so you can watch it on line to see when its on its way back to you .......colleen

tomitma that must be Première tickets you are quoting for that price as economy is about £110 return on Jet Air.
yes - what has probably happened is that the cheap tickets have gone for the dates you are going on.
It says on line this morning that our visa's were giving to the royal mail Y/day silly me forgot to take note of the return number on the bag so we cant track them on the way back ...waiting on the postman now will let you all know a bit later in the day if we get them back

Peachy eh? not a happy person, I called the compliants line and left a message for two days prior, no reply, called again today got connected to another number that just rung endlessly no reply, called the premium rate helpline, they took my details and promised a call back ... either today or tommorrow,
Do these people not understand stress? I'm in bits now, non the wiser after 2 weeks of waiting, apparently if there has been no movement within two weeks the online tracking will read... sorry no record found

Mine were created 8th October and received at Goswell Rd on 10th. 13th to 15th were just showing an application was created, but this morning is now showing has been sent to HCI on 15th.
Hopefully will be back soon before I completely run out of finger nails.

Excellent news Colleen! Just to give me an indication of how long they were at the HCI do you remember the date the tracking said your applications had been forwarded to the HCI?
