I don't know the answer, But can you tell me when they arrived at VFS and did you get anything other than 'an application was created' before the one you are now getting?

I would say a definate yes.You should not wait long now Colleen.
Postman has just delivered our visas. Two weeks exactly.
I helped a friend with her application on line then she sent it to Goswell Rd as this was one of the designated centres for where she lived. She had the visa back in 8 days. no problems whatso ever.
got visa back in post this morning neighbour took them in for us so dont have to go to depot. thank god they are back safe and sound

judsmiles All it said was 'an application was created' on such and such a date ..but this morning it was they were sent to the HCI on the 13th that was monday ..we sent them the monday before that ..hope this helps you .....brill smudger and Rokerenderim all pleased you got yours back
Brilliant news for those that have received their visas back. Irishcolleen, I am sure you will get yours soon. Just checked and ours were received at Hayes today, hope they put them into the HCI as quickly as they did yours Miccie. I am a total nervous wreck whilst our passports are away.

Right mines in the bag at the post office awaiting departure. Pop-it-in-Pete popped it in at 1306 hrs. Now the long nail biting wait commences.
Polly50 I am hoping that it all goes along as quickly as it appears to have started. To be honest when I logged on this morning I really didn't expect to see anything other than the applications had been started, so no one was more surprised than me that it actually said they had been sent on already. I think I'm more suspicious of it now than I would have been if they hadn't been looked at yet!
Does anyone know if there is a particular day (or days) they take them up to the HCI? Perhaps it was just a lucky case of good timing for you Miccie.

Honest to god that is the price that Jet are now charging, for a return from Mumbai to Goa, 90% of it is made up in fuel and airport taxes. I am just glad that we bought the tickets, when we did, I had a feeling that the prices would take off, and get as high as the planes go.
