judsmiles, I had by passport returned because my signature in my passport did not match the form. Thyy returned it with a letter with all that information on and they just circle the one relevant to you.

uh oh, that has happened to by boyfriend! But instead of them sending it back they rang asking for us to send another signed form. Hopefully he wont have his returned without the visa as we go ont he 13th november

Yep sure dose. Thank god I only paid for recorded delivery post last time so only cost me £1.50 both ways. This time it cost £10 recorded delivery plus £2.50 for the internet cafe because my useless new HP printer is poo and jams all the time.

Its all worth it though because India is such a fantastic place.

last moan about new system. how do you track the sde post when you have paid for vsf to send it back and you dont know the number as they dont let you know what the number is??????????????????

ps just glad ours are in post and will arrive tomorrow and guess what no one will be at home as both at work so another trip to sorting office that is only open from 7am to 2 pm for(and i quote. "these opening times are for the conveniance of our customers") not if you work for a living

It took ours exactly 2 weeks, if they arrive tomorrow.I put my own paid envelopes in for return but up to now they are not showing in the system.

Its almost over so we can all relax, there's no postal strikes due


Its now showing on the Royal Mail tracker and should be delivered the 15th

I have been on this computer since 2pm filling in the visa forms, it kept on crashing, what a pain, I have now finished it all, but just out of curiosity I thought that I would check the flights, we booked months ago, to my amazement the price on Jet airways from Mumbai to Goa,and back, on the dates we are using has gone up by 356 pounds it is now 488 pounds for the two of us. We used air miles for BA and just paid the taxes, the taxes alone has gone up by 123 pounds, each. I have a feeling that we will be having our last holiday in Goa.

I had a feeling that this would happen that is why we booked monts and months ago. I dread to think of what the prices will be next year.
