Colleen, if you still have your post office receipt for the special delivery envelopes, the post office tracking number should be on there. On mine its a number ending with GB. Hope this helps. Fizz

well I put my motheres name and address and she lives in Belfast ....also we did not put in the envelope the check list or a reciept for the card payment on line .. so I would have to say they are not too sticky on a lot of things .......colleen
forgot to say we ask for a single visa ..and the one that come is multiple

Chilly I didn't put mine in either, no problem! 
We didn't put payment receipt in and got ours back ok as well, so did our friends.

phew thanks for the reassurance guys this visa thing is a nightmare I am so glad i dont have to do one for myself i would give up going i think!!!

WOOHOO!!! The online tracking says our applications have been handed over to the Royal Mail all being well we should have them in our hot sticky hands tomorrow

where did you send yours and how long has it taken?
Just tracked mine on the post office site and it has been delivered to VFS so just waiting to see when it appears on the VFS site. How long does it normally take to appear on there? Just thinking that as the weekend is coming up it might not appear until mid week.
Lizzley I sent mine to Hayes, which meant they went to the HCI in London. I sent them off on Monday this week.

Miccie I have just been checking through your posts.....13th sent and possibly return tomorrow.....thats VERY good. It would be great if it is updated today, even greater if they sent it to the HCI today but I suppose as I only sent it yesterday I shouldn't expect too much. Just dashed home from work to check our online status and guess, what posted them on Tuesday, 14th to Hayes, last night, 15th, it said received at Application Centre Hayes and today it says forwarded to HCI on 15th yesterday the day they received them. Really glad I sent them to the Hayes office. Still won't rest till I get them back though.
you lucky lot seems like london are on a roll,mine still says at birmingham app created on 7th
