Actually, after a couple of shandy's, it does tend to make more sense! Really think it will be easier to get the visa's next season!
article in the telegraph today
That is saying that the 3 month visa is £38/45 will the 6 month visa be even more than that.
The outsourcing site shows visa costs (sorry not posted enough to enable links to be shown), up to 6 months £30, plus there are 1 year and 1 year plus visas at £50 & £90 respectively, 180 days stay at a time, but they do not explain who can apply for these! Hope they get it all sorted before we need to apply for next season.
Why do I get the feeling that outsourcing isn't going to be the answer to the visa fiascos of last season?
I usually get my visa at a visa surgery but I cant find a listing on the HCI website. Have they stopped doing them or is it me being useless [again]

Take a read of this link It will explain why http://in.vfsglobal.co.uk/
Thanks Split
Then again, I wonder if they can make head or tail of what they have put on the site, as it is all very contradictory.
Me too.
I wonder what the reason is for not doing the same as Turkey etc.
Simply because the Indian Govt. would not see a penny, and some other person in the airport would have bulging pockets.
I stay about 1/2 a mile from the Edinburgh Indian Consulate, think I'll drop in and witness the confusion
so ,do i go to the outscourcing website, and fill in forms and pay by credit card, send them my passport, then they will send me visa from london
Excellent i can walk to it from my work on my lunch hour now rather than driving to Rutland Square and dodging the meanies.
Any info' on opening hours?
Reading your post youve been to Goa before and obtained a Visa? Do you mind me asking what is so different about the Visa application that you cant fill it in and go again?
Gemma - i think the difference this time is that John doesnt know the address of the hotel, and they insist that every bit on the form has to be filled in without using N/A, or leaving it blank
I've fired off a couple of emails to see if I can get this verified.
Is it my imagination that every time someone mentions to visa officials the word "Goa" everything changes!!!!! so many people have told me this and at first i thought it was a coincidence but the more i here it must be fact.... My friends have got there visas from a surgery were given 2 year with restrictions 180days but told the guy there they would be travelling around India didnt mention Goa at all even though they have property there, and when going out of india they go via sri lanka or mumbai as the main point of exit/entry. If you go to Sri lanka to get a visa people have been told dont mention goa, how sad this situation has come to, its like going to Germany and not mentioning the war!!
