Hello there again.
Just looking in to see if anyone else has visited these apartments recently. Seven weeks to go until we fly out!! (whose counting)!!!!

I have just come back on the first of June and we had a great two weeks there. The pools have been built with kids well being in mind and are shallow. (my seven yr old could stand in the deep end on her tip toes).
The complex is very large but very quite and there is a happy hour from 7pm to 8:30 at the bar every night when the drink prices remind you of the Spanish prices of old.
The mini market is next to the bar so by the big bottles and drink them around the seated area ,the hotel dont mind this being done at all.
Brian and Kirsty are great behind the bar and the girls in the reception are very helpful.
Our room was spotless and the beds where changed 3 times aweek and towels changed every other day.
This may be becaues it was quite but still a very good service.
The high street is now not what it was 11 yrs ago and does have a lot of english style bars so get to the old town and hit the back streets.
This is where the Argentinian Grill, the Mirando Al Sur can be found and
take it from me you will not be disapointed.
This is one of the best meals I have ever had and you will go out of here
with an inch or two on your waist.
Try it its a must.
The dunes are only Two and a half euros taxi ride away or a 15 to 20 min walk and well worth it .
Go and enjoy and I hope you have as go a time as us.
By the way If you have little kids Julie and Summer are the girls that will keep them dancing and playing games in the big tent and they are a smashin set of girls.
So go and enjoy.

Going to the Atlantic Gardens on July 13th for 2 weeks, please tell me the work has finished and if it hasn't that the rooms overlooking the pool aren't affected by the noise. Is the refurbishment finished and is the place okay? Can't wait to go but I don't want to get too excited incase the apartments are a let down! It's the first time abroad for my kids so I'm hoping everything will be ok for them.

Just a tip for anyone going to Atlantic Gardens.

If you are really worried about the building work etc then do what we have been told to do (by the hotel manager). Phone or fax the hotel 2 weeks before you are due to arrive as this is when you are allocated your room and ask them for a room away from the building development.

They are very friendly people there and they do speak good English on the phone so don't be too worried.

Enjoy yourselves!

Jason.

Thanks Jason, we have taken your advice and asked Thomas Cook to fax the Atlantic Gardens and check our room allocation. I am really looking forward to going, anything has got to be better than staying at home and putting up with the Scottish weather!

Good advice Jason. We too are asking Thomas Cook to contact Atlantic Gardens. We have booked two rooms and are hoping they will be away from any noise etc. Keeping our fingers crossed. :!: We will be arriving just as you are leaving Lynn. Hope you have a great time.

Just returned from the Atlantic Gardens, we asked for our room to overlook the pool and it did. The apartments were very clean as was the complex. The Atlantic Gardens was a good place to stay and we would go back again. The resort is great with loads to do and see, there are also loads of places to eat and drink.

If you go on any of the Lanzarote trips it is cheaper not to go through your tour rep, we went via last minute travel (Haseem) and saved 40 euros on 3adult and one child fare.

If you are going remember to ask for a room away from the building work, we were not aware of it at all. 8)

well we are off to the Atlantic Gardens on August 24th :fly
We have been to fuerteventura 5 times, but the apartments we usually stay in have disappeared off the face of the earth.

We are really looking forward to it, but obviously have a little concern due to the building work. Does anyone know how far along they are with it?.

Also if anyone could give me any details to where it is exactly, places i know in the area are the Market, Childrens play areas(bouncy castles etc)
and the verdemar apts. Anyone who knows the island will know where they are.

Look forward to any feedback 8)

Hi Tina Lou,
The Atlantic gardens are between the Baku Waterpark and the bouncy castles etc. infact they are just down the road from the bouncy castle and crazy golf. If I can remember correctly they back on the the Dunas park apartments and they are in turn beside the waterpark. If you go straight ahead when you come out of the Atlantic Gardens and take a 2nd left at a fork in the road you will pass the Atlantis Palace Hotel.
Hope this helps, have a good time, we did!

Thanks for your reply lynnm.
It's where i thought it was, i'm really glad i came across this site, as the travel agents seem to have zero info on the apartments.

Here's hoping the weather is good and the kids behave :argue
