All staff work for hibicus the restaurant there,i think i did here the name anup all the staff where very nice,did he wear glasses.

Hi Poultonkid, thanks, no he doesnt wear glasses, or he didnt last year, he did used to work at Sublime as a bar man, but is now working at the Riverside

Is it really that bad? I am staying at the riverside regency, I'm quite concerned at how people are saying how very bad it is, we usually have breakfast about 0830 and come back about 1900 then out again about 2000 for dinner, is this going to ruin my holiday?

Goanne - We know Anup, he used to work in the Sports Bar upstairs in the Bom Successo for many years before going to work at Sublime, we were wondering where he would be this season, so will have to pay him a visit, we know where he lives in Candolim, he's a smashing little chap.

The barman at riverside did say he worked for sublime last year,i no there is a anup working there,i did have a job hearing them with jackhammering going on,

No donna,with you stopping at regencyit will be a bit better,if you go out all day you will be ok,i know they are being pushed to finish quicker,it is doing the buisneses a lot of harm,you will see by there faces when you get there.The sublime and hibicus dont do nothing till after 8-00 ,I hope they are down to the floor when you get there,as it might be a bit quiter,i would bring some earplug just incase,the times you are in your room you will be ok ,by the way the riverside has been less than half full since christmas,all danish and germans have walked out,only english have stopped,anyway have a nice hol,i need a nother week to get out of my depresion.

Hi there, Anyone know if the little box bridge over the Baga river is finished yet. Also does anyone know of any UK tour companies that are offering accommodation the Riverside Hotel near the bridge. I can't seem to find anyone, maybe because of the bridge works.

Manos were doing both the Riverside and Riverside regency. Not sure if they still are. I think Olympic holidays also do riverside regency.
Thanks for that Sim1, I have tried both those companies but with no joy.
The new bridge is ALMOST finished. The road connecting it with the main Baga road has been surfaced, but the actual bridge has not. By the time next season starts i'm sure it will be open, so there shouldn't be any disruption at the Riverside Hotel from building work, though there will of course be more traffic.
Jewel in the Crown have the Riverside Regency.
