This is going to make the road alongside the Marinha Dourada much busier, are they doing anything with the track onthe other side of the bridge to the start of the beach road?

it was the foundations of new bridge - done ad-lib

For years we called the old bridge "billy goats gruff bridge" as in the kids tale - when we went over on the bike I (the pillion person) got off and walked over.
We have been over the new bit on the bike and person side and it is brilliant - hope the taxi bit will be as good.l
M.Dourada road will be busier but will not affect the hotel guests as taxis are not loud.

our family and a group of freinds are going to baga for the third time for three weeks over new year and this time staying over the river just wondering if anyone knows where their up to with building the new bridge over the river as this time our base is the riverside regency and we always go to the captains cabin shack at the bottom of titos

The bridge is NEARLY finished. It is bulit but they have yet to surface the road over the bridge. The approach road from the Baga road to the bridge is finished and looks very fancy - it even has white lines down the middle! They have painted the bridge bright yellow in an attempt to make it look as ugly as the old one. It should be open by the start of the saeson.
