Elliebee, you'll have to let us know how your stay is. I'd love to go, not travelling until 28th Feb, just a bit concerned about restaurnat on a cliff as my mum's in her 70's and not too good at climbing hills!!

Thanks Elliebee, the link to their web site says 'lunch and dinner is served at our restaurant, built on a cliff edge, where you can hear the sound of fresh flowing water going into the ocean'. Sounds lovely but not sure my mum would manage it!!

Beach huts are a great experiece, but at 6000rps per night (£85) :yikes C'mon, someones taking the ****.
The Cafe Del Mar at Palolem used to be top end at 1800rps per night and you got en-suite and A/C and tasteful deco for that. 300-500rps gets you the basics with shared shower block at most beaches with huts.
Sorry, but at 6K, i can get a nice room with mod cons for two weeks or at least pamper yourself at the Taj for a night.
IMO, no huts are worth that sort of price. You're still sleeping on a plywood box with a matress on top, a celing fan and a mozzie net and A/C is not required Nov/Feb, in fact it can get suprisingly cool during the night on the beach.
But as the saying goes, you pay your money etc. just think you should try for a better deal.
Eddie.

I'm paying 4000rs so around £54. Or £27 a night. Not bad for food as well as the experiance.

Wildernest... NOW thats expensive. But again i'm paying for the experiance. This is most probably the last time I go to goa so I really want to see some amazing sites. Rach (my gf) is lucky as I know my way around and all the quirks she should have a great time!

Eddie its a matter of personal choice. I know full well I could go to Madhu's huts for 1400 rps for one night. Im well aware they are expensive by Goan standards. Its my money and ill spend it as I wish :)

By they way im not paying 6000 ;)

Nope me nether ;)
I see what Eddie is saying. They must be making a huge profit.

We'll probably stay in a 500rs shack too but i'd like to do both.

Personally I wouldn't pay so much for a beach hut but to be fair the Dwarka huts look to be "a cut above the rest" and their location looks wonderful. If money was "no object", I would be sorely tempted :)
We have stayed at the Cafe Ibiza huts at Palolem, can't quite remember exactly what we paid per night but it was around 4 or 500 Rs (I think) food was extra. We liked it there and have stayed twice. Nice bar/restaurant, food good and the staff friendly. They made some improvements to the huts last year and included an internet cafe too. They did have a web site but I don't know the address - for anyone who is interested just google Cafe Ibiza +Goa and you should find them.

Is that difference from Cafe Del Mar (goa). Which is also a famous bar in Ibiza?
Reply
Yes they are different beach huts Mardon - I googled them as previously posted and found them okay - also try googling cafeibiza +palolem to get to the same site.
