I posted a review of Agonda on the Thing to do in South Goa thread. If you go to Q and As on resorts at the top of the page then follow the link to Thing to do in South Goa. (hope that makes sense)

Hello

Just wondering if anyone has been down to Palolem recently and has any update on the demolitions?

Can't find the other thread you posted info on GFF.

Hi Zosie,

I think that thread got deleted or merged with another for some reason.

Haven't been back to Palolem yet but will let you know what it's like when I do.

Will definitely be staying in beach huts for a couple of days in March probably at Dunes Dando on Mandrem Beach, can anyone tell me if there are any shacks on Mandrem Beach or do you have to get all your drinks, food etc at the huts. Cheers Lenny

Hi Humbertug.

Try "Ciaran's Camp" in Palolem, we stayed there a couple of years ago, it's really good, and they also have rooms at the back if climbing stairs is a problem.

Hi,
We all understand that most of the people who have little more disposable income can afford a website these days. but what abot the ones which dont.
Can Anyone in Goa help me get numbers for the beach huts or some travel agents in Goa who can help me book beach huts ANYWHERE IN GOA as this will also be helpful for people who run those beach huts to get more bookings.

Thanks again
Cheers

Hi
I booked HI TIDE beach huts through travelguru@Rs.1,000 for 30th December as 31st december is my girl friends birthday. and she wants to wake up near the beach.
I reach Goa on 29th Dec. i am advised that many locals rent out their places for cheap. is it true? or could anypne who is in Goa already help me with numbers of the beach huts who dont have any website or web listings, i'm sure there would be many of them.
Thanks a lot Fiona for that link. it really helped deciding as most of the places were booked or out of our budget
Cheers

Try Dunes Mandrem beach, just key that into a search engine, its fab there we have been there on half a dozen occassions. They used to have their own website but like a lot of others it seems to have been amalgamated by a tour operator
cheers
