Argh zavania don't get me started. My daughters giagia and papou made her drink a shot of that everyday when she was living with them in Cyprus :yikes I think they forgot she was 14 at the time!!!.

Some great pictures been shared on here! I would deffinatley recommend Steens (not just because Billy and Linda were my next door neighbours ;) ) Knights pub is also very good as mentioned before. Windmills bar has great entertainment on the night time. The lounge bar is very nice for a coffee in the afternoon and last time I went there they had free Wi-Fi if you are taking laptops. Super S is lovely too and next to Super S is woody's bar which is brilliant bingo nights are Tuesday and Saturday if you are a bingo fan!.

If you are going to take a walk into Protaras on the night time Nicolas Tavern is a deffo (quite a walk from Pernera though). As you come off the walk way you will see 'Yianna Marie Restaurant' which belongs to family it's on the left hand side, just been refurbished, beautiful food, lovely waiters. Everyone is so welcoming.

Have a fantastic time!!!! :cheers

yes this is well worth a visit we went last year. We bought the tickets from the kiosk by the side. We didn't buy the package to include the food, but they actually saved us the best view. Totally worth the money, fabulous.

What a trip down memory lane. we stayed at Pernera nearly 16 years ago. The windmill place was there on the corner and our hotel cant remember the name of it was on side road that windmill was on, but on left hand side, it had a main block and then an annexe block.

We got the bus regularly to the harbour, then the following year went to Ayia Napa because i loved the beaches but we were very out of place pushing a pram with a 3 year old in it around the main square. And i was very newly pregnant and feeling very yuck,

Am thinking perhaps next year go back to Cyprus, i think the baby i was carrying who is now 15 might enjoy it. I am especially keen to see if we can go over to the Northern part last time you could only look through a hole in the wall at the end of the shopping St in Nicosia.
