Oh my, do i want to be there right now..YES!!! I was freezing my...err well it was cold, very cold, in Lancashire whilst you were filming that Sanji, between 19th - 22nd March...you would'nt happen to know how hot it was then would.... Incidently good to see the Sunbeds were back. When we were there in Jan there were none at all on the beach, and someone told us it was normal at that time of year to take them away, yet the previous January there was definately a few there when we went. I know you go to Beni frequently at that time of year Sanji, have you noticed whether all the sunbeds are removed then or not.?

Gr.eat video Sanji thought I was there reading a book oh! well not long now.Noticed red flag on the beach ok for this time of year but I have never seen green flying only the amber,but as we usually go May or Oct.Does the green Flag ever get hoisted.Regards Steve.

The red flag was flying on the 21st March as there was a cold wind blowing and the sea was very rough that day, too nippy for the beach except for the hardy...which the video shows, in contrast to the other days when I filmed when there was hardly any breeze whatsoever on the 19th March and a warm breeze/wind on the 22nd, but the sea was rough at times, despite the temperatures and sunshine.

Yes the green flag does get hoisted, Benidorm is very proud of its beaches, both in cleanliness and safety.

I must say though, that I think they "air on the side of caution" and the amber/red flag makes more appearances than the green,

Taggy, not all the sunbeds are removed from the beach in January when I've been there (last 5 years)

I'm glad I saved viewing that clip until tonight, while it is snowing here at the moment. It was probably wise to exclude Playa Mal Pas from the clip, as we wouldn't want it to become too popular and thronged.

thanks for the insight into the beaches of Benidorm. Can't wait for next Easter now. When you filmed that we were lucky enough to be sunning ourselves in another of your favourite haunts - La Cirahuela. I hope we'll enjoy Beni just as much
