I think so .....but we decided not to go there this time.......
Long trousers/jeans and a top, a tea shirt will do.
I think hairyhamster's observations at breakfast would be right, but it's dinner they want you to dress up for
yes acorncup i think your right.... ive worn shorts and tshirt for breakfast with no probs.... never had my dinner there!!!! (yet!!!)
and your only 20yds off the bottom gate hairy..
i was!!!!!! sold it!
So would you recommend the Bouganville, hairyhamster?
yea i would.... like i said ive never stayed there, but ive been in the rooms and the restaurant, pool etc....... its a real nice hotel, and in a great location.... lots of bars and food stops within 2 min walk, also the shopping centre 300 yards up the road, and 10 yards (well maybe a little more!!) to the beach
Thanks HH...we'll put it on the list.....maybe see you at breakfast one day
when we stopped there a few a few years ago, you can wear basically anything for breakfast, but men must wear trousers and no vest tops/bare chests for evening meal. Just to add, food and hotel was brilliant when we were there, no complaints what so ever, sure you will enjoy.
looking at staying at the bouganville. can you reccomend a specific floor to stay on?
I've stayed in room 344 (3rd accommodation floor) over looking main pool, brilliant views & yes there's a small fridge for drinks. On this site, click on Hotel reviews, click on Tenerife and you can see good reviews of Bouganville. I left a review after staying there in June this year. You'll enjoy this hotel, great location.
Yes, there is also a small fridge in the rooms which is ideal for keeping the wine cool. Enjoy!
Just got back from there (will write review when I have more time), Yes there is a small fridge in room also English TV channels on room TV. Hairdryer in bathroom is a good one. I had asked for a mid floor with pool view. Got floor 2 with a pool view. There were 4 flights of stairs down to reception 6 to dining room and 8 to the pool. The lifts take ages during meal times so If I were you I would ask for low floor. There were always plenty of sunbeds but there was a lot of reserving with towels in the best spots and beds then not used till the afternoon. This was mainly by large groups of Spanish who then seem to take over with very loud converation and all trying to speak at once!
bouganville play can any one tell me aobut this hotel.
Very good location, hard to beat. Food very varied and good. Breakfast 7am till 10am, Dinner 6:30pm till 9:30pm. Rooms very clean. Small fridge in rooms. ITV, BBC1, Sky sports, BBC News, CNN all on room TV. Digital clock on TV so if you wake up in the night you can see the time. Email them and ask for a pool view (sunny side of hotel).Lifts can be a bit slow during peak times. Would go again tommorrow if I could.
is it in PLDSA AREA OR NOT X
