We too are off on the 2nd of August - if the Safety Deposit Box is not secured down we are of the opinion that I will shout load & clear until I have got it secured.......hubby is quite prepared to do it himself if they want to give him the tools
i know, we cant wait, weve got some stick on alarm things for the doors and windows, really loud,so if anyone gets in our room im sure your hear it(haha) see you there,
we go same time and cant wait. even went to airport on sunday to show kids, for 3rd time this year.
all packed and ready to go........
Hi jaimia,
some safety deposit boxes are bolted down some are not the luck of the draw i know the one in a27 is not they are a bit hard to pick up and walk about with i put mine in my case locked it stuck it under the bed no probs
i was in A57 and the safety deposit box was fine no probs but then had problems with cockroaches so moved next door to A56 this SDB was not screwed in . i was in reception everyday - it got so bad they nailed my bedroom window shut. also make sure the port hole window in bathroom locks as the one in a A56 did not.
thank you all for the replys, we got the alarms from betterwere £12.99 for 8
We didn't take anything valuable apart from mobiles which are insured, it was the 'thought' of someone being in my room that bothered me.
If we needed any money we walked into town and used the cash machine.
what alarms - what are they for? thanks
hi mary, the alarms are little plastic things that screw or stick on doors and windows, once set if the door or windows are opened the alarm sounds(very loud)
Hi Everyone
I'm going in about an hour I'll post a review when I get back in 2 weeks time.

god an hour b4 i went i was running round like a nutter trying to remember everything.
For anyone who doesn't already know the reviews for the amarilla also apply to the dorada as they are one big complex. Its worth checking these out too.
hi all, going to caleta dorada A/L for 2weeks how much spending money do you think we need 2 take, 2 adults 2 kids aged 2 and 4,thanks
if you take your cards with you then get any extra money out of the hole in the wall. it gave me better exchange rate than post office.
Both our girls were 8 & 4 when we first went to Majorca - this time round they will be 16 & 12
We find it easiest to assume that at least once each week we are going to all go out somewhere for a meal for a treat & that we will go on at least 1 trip - ususlly waterpark or boat trip....... that way we are prepared to spend money
We have been awaay where there are people who have brought no money with them as they are AI, but that is when the boredom of food steps in!!
We also make sure that the "flexable" friends are available to get cash if needed.
Guess What Our TICKETS arrived today!!!!!!!
thanks for the replys, our tickets have arrived aswell, only 2weeks and 5days to go
