i agree madasafishy i doesnt matter what people are saying about the place if you go with an open mind then we are going to be fine like you say wen you have saved hard for your hols this isnt going to put a dampener on your hols
hope you have a great time coz i know im going to in sept you will have to let me know
I agree too madasafishy. We went 5 * star to turkey last year. The place was fantastic but there were mainly germans and russians there. Not that I have anything against them. It was just the entermaintent was all in foreign and the kids could not not mix as much so they got bored. Give me 2/3 star and happy kids and no cleaning and cooking. I also like the fact that you can walk into town at this place. Last year we were in the middle of nowhere. So you did fed up of the place even though it was 5 star. At least you can go out of here if you do finds things are not as good as you want them.
Already written this earlier on the forum, am offended .....because I have an opinion that I'm classed as a 'moaner'.
The purpose of these forums is so that information, good and bad, can be exchanged. It is up to the individual how they use that information. I have seen people dismiss poor reviews, determined to have a good time, only to return and agree that the original poster was right. However I have also seen people extremely worried about poor reviews posting on their return to say how good a holiday they had.
From personal experience I know that things can change on a week by week basis. If someone goes and finds none of the problems previously reported, it doesn't mean that the earlier posters were moaners or hard to please, rather that the problems have been addressed and no longer exist.

We have gone AI for the last 8 years to lots of places & enjoyed all but one - not keen on the food etc but did have a good tme........yet at every place omeone there has had reason to complian or say that it was not for them - including friends that we have gone away with!
It just goes to show that everyone is different & you can not please everyone all of the time.
Hope to see you all after the 2nd - I will be the one with a big smile cos I am on Holday
Hi to everyone, especially all those who are going to be there on the 2nd of august. i have been reading the posts and i also believe that it doesnt matter whether other people have had a good or rubbish time as i myself like to decide for myself. I will be the one on holiday with lauren the teenager "am i bovvered?"
the above post should have been in this name but we are starting the holiday a little early
you will have a nice time dont worry, just dont expect the ritzs. Its only a three star
Yes I agree some of the electrics in the bungalows were a little on the dodgy side but exercise care and you'll be OK .... yes the main restaurent could do with the tables and floors cleaning to a much higher standard but that's me applying my personal standards ...... mind you that said some of the guests could help matters by using the bins provided and not throwing their litter and fag ends all over the place !
Regarding pool towels it is take your own the hotel provide none ..... there is a good washer on site that you can freshen towels up in ... if you wash them in the evening and hang them out overnight they are dry by morning
Please everyone don't expect anything other than 3 star ... as this is what the hotel is (as advertised) but if you have children they will enjoy it and you will have a rest.
i will be doing a full review shortly, but if you look in the small print in the brochure this complex is officially 2 star.first choice rate it as 3,i would say it falls into a 2 plus star cat.
Looking forwad to having no routine and a good rest from having to do 101 things all the time will suit me.
It is good to hear different opinions on this place but everybody is different. Heres to a good time to everyone going in the next few weeks regardless.
I Cannot wait!!! I'm more excited than the kids, my eldest has just given me when i asked him if he was excited...
ps... beer 24/7 will do for me
We are going on the 5th Aug. When are you? Hubby looking forward to beer 24/7 and not having to spend any money on kids drinks and icecreams. I hoping the wine is half decent.
hi di1, we are going on the 2nd of august. it doesnt matter of the quality of wine to my hubby as he will drink at least one bottle each afternoon anyway . cant wait now, cannot come soon enough to leave my neighbours fom hell on there own for 2 whole weeks. brind it on
Just got in now. I enjoyed the holiday. The apartments are what I would expect of the 3 star.
A brief summary (I will post in more detail at a later date).
I thought the food was good for the first week but then I got fed up of the same thing and ate out quite a bit (saying that, if I ate in the same place for 14 days then I would probably get fed up of the food anywhere).
The kids (aged 5 and 7) loved the kids club.
The drinks were fine, I didn't get fed up of the beer (Tropical) or the Sangria Some of the drinks machines did run out quite frequently though so this was a but annoying.
I heard of 3 breakins in the week, and I didn't go out of my way to find out about them so there were probably more. We were in C36 - this was right next to the main bar + points no security problems -'ve points a bit
of noise from the bar (only till 12) and a whole bunch of noisey stray cats that made a racket all night (I was on the roof more than once with my buckets of cold water to throw at them).
Other -'ve point was that the sun beds were all covered with towels by 9 o'clock (and we Brits used to call the Germans).
The town is a 10 minute walk.
We rented a car from Hertz (cheapest place - on the left as you get into the town) - C3 for 3 days 92 euro's.
There are not enough staff at the resort but the obes who are there work VERY hard.
Can anyone remind me if there are hair dryers in the rooms??
With 3 of us with long hair trying to get ready in the evenings will be a nightmare
Then again Pete has a grade 1 so he's OK
Hi,
Thank You
