Send the hotel an E Mail then you will know for sure.
When were you thinking of going? Pippy and myself along with a few others are going on 30 july for two weeks
We're thinking late september again, a little too hot for me in july/august and also a little cheaper in september. Just really hope not to get the poorly tummy again!!
Good to see a positive new review
Hi everyone, we've booked for the conrad again for september the 20th, anyone else got plans to go at this time of year? Have emailed the Conrad about the new building to find out when it will be open, will keep you posted!
We have booked to go to the Conrad Sharm EL Sheikh Resort Hotel in September 07 for 10 days. We are traveling with a 3.5 yr old and a 13month old.
I am getting quite nervous about the holiday now, as i have read some bad reviews (on other websites) and think i may have made a mistake booking it..
Read the reviews on here and they seem ok.
Can you please reassure me that i have made a good choice!! And Sharm is a good place to take young kids!!
Thanks,
Nessie

What i love about it is the safe beach and sea, lovely staff, good size rooms and how clean it is.
I admit that most people have bad stomache upsets within about 3 days
of arrival, so go to the pharmacy in the shopping area just a few minutes walk from the hotel as soon as you arrive then you will have what you need.
I still think this hotel is really good value and certainly has the best beach.
as for the children, just ensure plenty of protection from the sun is used, and the staff are very good with kids, so dont worry and enjoy yourself
I went last year and have rebooked to go again this year in september. I had a great time and that was even with a tummy upset which I think you'll find you could get in any hotel.....probably a mixture of the heat, change of diet etc etc. The hotel will be fab for kids, they'll love it! Don't be put of by the bad reviews. The hotel is in a great location, with great staff and excellent facilities. You will enjoy! I'm quite picky and have never been to the same hotel twice so I hope that this reassures you!
Thanks for the replies to my earlier post. I feel much better now, i have had a good read of the reviews etc. I have made a good choice by the sounds of it!!!
The kids will love it, and so will me and hubby!!
Ta,
Wow, really had to search through the forum to find this thread again!!! Hope you are all well. Wondered if anyone has been here recently and stayed in the 'new' part of the hotel? Or if anyone is going can they have a little snoop around??
I'm not going again until July 30th. Any good?
Really cant wait to go, stayed in the baron plams last yr and could look over at the conrad and it looked very nice.
Any 1 else going at way at this time?
Many Thanks
My Mum went to the Conrad (2nd visit) last year, that was either Sept or Oct, can't remember which. No doubt she'll see this when she's next online and reply.
Pippy
Altoman, Baloo and myself will be there in 4 weeks (come Thursday) and will let you all have the lowdown on the new part of the hotel.
Yes i was at the Conrad last september (21),the sea was actually cooler than i expected but on the beach it was still lovely and warm
Thanks guys! Yeah, any feedback before sept 20th would be gratefully recieved!! I can't wait......its always on my mind which seems to make the time go slower!!!!

I think lovethesun wanted to know if it was busy
hi, i and 14 other people are staying here from 4th oct for 2 weeks, is this a busy time of year or has the season calmed down ?

I did have a look at the new part but it wasnt finished....certainly looked nice
I also found the airport was not so busy when we left but was very busy on arrival...took me ages to find our cases as they were no longer on the belt but just stashed in a corner so ensure bright colors are attached so you can see it more easily.
I've been badgering one of the Conrad staff by email to try and be allocated the two rooms we had in 2005 which were 3131 and 3132.
I don't know if they'll be able to do this for us but it's worth trying and I will be nagging the poor man further before we go! They were in such a great position I've got to try!
Bless you Mr Garhi for your polite, patient replies
Pippy
