But I bet Russel (or Charlie or Katie - depending on who is rep same week you are there) would still sell you a trip...

Never saw much of the Libra (or Thomson) reps when we were there last summer.

Anyway - Libra prices are here. Or you could also see what Soliman do of course - I have a contact number for them if you need one.

out on the 28/9 for two weeks, so may well see you out there - may wear my away shirt on the evening of the 5th then :)
Having committed 2 weeks here , and a further week in March 08 (with in laws 11 yr old), along with friend and his mrs and their young son, plus their adult daughter / boyfriend (taking advantage of that £100 thomson code), its a like a little grey cloud in a blue sky to read a recent review stating no sunbeds, poor food, noisy rooms, and dirty beaches. Must remember to TIC its just one review, and as Everest has just said via TA, some people dont know how to enjoy themselves

note just counted 97 sun covers via Google earth picture- must have been busy

As someone who has stayed at the Coral Hilton for a total of 18 weeks over 9 visits, I think whoever posted a review with those words in is either a complete moron or is talking about the wrong hotel! What a load of old cobblers! Its a lovely hotel and the staff are superb.

There was one day in two weeks in July/August when my wife and daughter were too late to get a sunbed. I'd slipped away early to go diving in Dahab and at the time Kamel, the main towel guy at the Hilton was on leave. Once Kamel was back we got our favourite spot every day (though to be honest we ain't as fussy as some) - ready for us to drop off a few items of beachgear on the way to the restaurant. "That" post claims you have to bribe the beach staff to get this service - what piffle, once they know who you are and where you want to be the towels are ready laid out on the sunbeds from early. None of this getting up before 7am to claim a spot nonsense.

Between the two pools and both sides of the beach there must be about one sunshade per room & we've never know it impossible to find a shady spot.

thanks Alan. I hope we get to know Kamel fairly quickly, as priority for us is a quiet room, with a good beach to chill out on..

You will certainly get that at the Coral Hilton Nuweiba - they even arrange for a wave machine to stir things up periodically

hi !

do they have a kids club ? anyone know ?
thanks !
Reply
Im not sure about the kids club maybe one of the other regulars will have a bit more info on this.

they do have a small playground of sorts and the mini golf

me and the lioness preferred the port side of the beach bar up near the pink chalet,
A gentle snorkel out to the mini reef

Hey does anyone have a name for those 3 liitle clusters of coral or would anyone like to choose a name for them?

Pink chalet? Do you mean the red villa?

A kids club has recently been started, but what they do there (if anything) I couldn't tell you. They do a few songs and dances before the "main entertainment" in the evenings. They do the Spurs dance - everyone falls down on their knees and don't get up again. And there's also the Schevchenko competition - the worst mover wins

Well, its a very pale red if it is red
