yeah , the rooms at the top floor of building 3 have some good views towards the port and sea
hence 3308 being on the third floor 3208 being on the second
As for the accusation regarding being an anorak
Third floor? Do you mean the roof? There was only ground, first and second when I was last there
For example, room 3317 is number 17 on the top, third, or as some would say, second floor of building 3 - actually it's the room where the air cooling was playing up last week, so we moved to 3116 on the ground (aka first) floor...
The balcony of these third floor rooms have excellent views of the hotel grounds, mountains and sea - provided the room number is about 14 (ie 3314) or higher, otherwise it would be a bit difficult to see the sea. From the rear entrance door you can see the sand plain on which Nuweiba is built with the Swisscare hotel about a mile away but easily located by the presence of a very tall (plastic) palm tree - I think it's a radio mast in real life.
Don t be so silly Alan... who would want to place one here in Nuweiba...
Who would need high powered binoculars and a 'Magic Tree' - rumours abound about the secret role of a certain 'hotel owner' in South Sinai...
.... we even have the famous British master spy, Major Bolt, staying with us.... but please do not tell anyone.
Sadly In Croydon we have that well known deceptor, Major Crime staying with us.
few more days then off to Tunisia, then back another month at work, then back to bubbling springs wahooo
Hotel e-mailed, room on the third floor (see what I did there ) of block three reserved... Its starting to seem real now... Is Syed still there?
Syed in the restaurant? He was on vacation the first week we were there but returned last week - so should be around for a little while now...
Alan have you had time to put up some UW photos from your last trip yet.
When you going kosh?,
Glad Syed is still there... Must congratulate him on being a maried man...
And does Russel still ask people for copies of The Times and Telegraph on the bus/in the welcome meetings? Thinking of buying a couple of days worth to take...
No idea whether Russell asks for them at the welcome meetings - after a mere 5 visits we've already given up going. Haven't had him escort our bus either...
PS - if you fill in the Sudoku in pencil he can rub it out and try again
They would be very much appreciated I would think.
Alan mentioned a ATM at the bank, Anyone know if its been installed yet.
On Thursday it had been taken out of the box and connected up. Whether there's any money in it yet, I don't know. The screen was on but the front was open.
is it time to ask for a specific room yet do you think? (3rd floor, 3rd block seems to be the best from what folks say) or is it a bit too early yet....
Well, I arrive 17/9 and mine is booked
Anyone know what time the Longwood coach picks you up for the return flight home to Manchester on Mondays.
Can't comment on the departure times for the Manchester flight but one thing you can be sure of is that they will make sure you have a meal on arrival.. We have arrived late on Gatwick flights before and the restaurant has been kept open specially. You will be amazed at how far the Coral goes to ensure your enjoyment.
Have a great time!
