good post mate ,i cant wait for the next four weeks to tick by
just been to the first choice travel shop to get prices for the csr and they want to charge me £168 so i will get a balcony or terrace, ive been before and i was led to beleive that they all had balcony or terrace, is it just first choice trying to get more money. any way just got a price from eclipse and they are £230 cheaper.
when we were there in feb it looked like all the rooms have balconys or terraces,i wouldn't pay the extra as we were going to upgrade when we got there but they told us to take a look at our room and if we didn't like it they would change us to another.....but the first room was fantastic and overlook the pool and the sea 
just rang the coral sea they said all rooms have balcony or terrace, so they are trying to get more money out of me.
I think the extra charge maybe to do with whether your room with its balcony or terrace overlooks the pool areas. There are quite a few rooms behind the scenes that have quite boring views.
Yes, i think it may have to do with the select rooms.

Anyone else flying out April 26 (FC) Manchester, also anyone know if there is a dress code for gents at dinner i.e. long trousers or will shorts or 3/4 length do? Just so I can get my butler to pack the right stuff 
No dress code ...just no swim suits allowed in the dining room...thats all!

We are going in 2 weeks for the 1st time to CSR (2nd in Sharm but thats another story) Any tips or advice is always welcome from anyone who has been before.

Club badge....dunno about that.
You do get a wristband to wear for the duration of your stay....you just got to remember to move it up and down your wrist when sunbathing!

We were at the csr last August and went with first choice we didn`t book a sea/pool view room and got a ground floor room with a terrace,the view was to the back of the dive centre I was quite upset.Thankfully the hotel was not full and we were able to upgrade to a lovely room with a huge balcony overlooking the pool,it cost about £90 ( english) and well worth it,
This is certainly worth bearing in mind.

Yes Sharaawin is still there. I met him whilst there at the beginning of April. Great man!!! In fact, all the staff are very helpful and nice!!
I've still to do a review and will try to find time tomorrow to do it.

Is anyone aware of a website or an email address for the CSR? (I prefer not to phone them if I can help it, LOL!)
My partner and I want to go here in September for 11 nights, not the 7/14 that most packages appear to be.
Any help will be appreciated.
edit: Can anyone cofirm the email addy posted by ali781 a couple of pages back is correct? (It's the same address for contacting another hotel in Australia.)

you can get 11 days look on first choice webisite or go to eclipse direct there cheaper, but i thin you will find it can possible be cheaper for 14 nights, this hotels is first choice only i believe, although eclipse direct are liked with fist choice, i dont think you can book direct with hotel but im not sure, im going in august for 2 weeks, we went when it first opened fantastic place best holiday we ever had
