i did go to the reps meeting last year but i would say its a waste of time. i learnt more from sites like this. they are only interested in selling trips and trying to tell you that other companies have no insurance etc. you can find out all about the trips on the board and ask questions in your own time if you wish. i will not be attending this year!

Went to the reps meeting in March. Basically a waste of time. They do take all the "little" children away for a walk to the play area while the meeting is going on. Suppose that's quite good for the little ones to get to know each other.

They run through all the usual history of the area and the trip. They also cover whats on at the hotel but you can get all that info from the noticeboards.

Then.......they actually recommend a time share holiday club to you! If you go to a half day presentation....you will receive £70 in vouchers to use on the trips. Some friends of ours did the visit and said it wasn't that bad. But I was only there for a week and didn't fancy spending several hours in their company!

Was the meeting worth it?......Nope, I wouldn't bother again.

Can you get bucket and spades at the shop onsite at the hotel?

We are taking our little boy who will be 3 and I want to keep him entertained.

Did I read that they have a play area?

We fly out from Bristol on 21 June and I cannot wait - 7 weeks to go.

there is a little shop to your left on the beach you can buy there but dont pay the price he ask, although to be honest i buy them here before we go its cheaper, i usally leave them there when i return, i dont know if they still do it but the rep ask people if they dont want items they can leave on a table for other guest, we did this you will see snorkels mask rings lilo,s books and suntan lotion, it was a great idea but we went when it fist opened so dont know if it still happens,,,,,
we are returning this august and cant wait...
as for the holiday village all the people going dont worry as i was in your shoes 2 years ago worrying weather coral sea would be finished, it was with a few bits that were still being done but did not effect our holiday, i was going to book hvillage this year but i wanted to return to coral sea and see how gardens have mutured and palm tree,s as i suppose with the village the trr,s will still have the sacks on them and gardens just planted, but im sure we will try this one next year, will have a nose when we get there..
roll on 23 august cant wait,

There are two pools. The one closer to the hotel reception is the heated one. This is where the entertainment all happens plus loud music most of the day. When I was there at Easter people were putting towels on the sunbeds before breakfast!! When we walked past on our way to the other pool at about 9am, there wasn't one free sunbed.

The other pool is much bigger and is much quieter and many more sunbeds. Never had a problem getting one at that pool.

Thanks Chelsea and Spinner look forward to dipping in one pool and sunbathing at the other  (I read the unheated pool is freezing in December  )
