Thanks for that, i thought that would be the case but thought i would just check.
Does anyone know what the Gym is like please.
Also does the local shop sell sun cream?
Many thanks
PS 28 days to go
Does anyone have the CSR CD from the animation team? The kids have managed to destroy ours and I never put it on my hard drive They are none to pleased and already missing the Boomba
I will happily post a cd to anyone or if anyone knows of an upload that is outthere somewhere
Thanks in advance
Neil
PS anyone who is going you will have a great time!! Gym is great Jenna and you will get suncream in the shop there or cheaper in the Metro outside the hotel. Do not take the first price from the man in the hotel shop though. He tried to charge me 20le for a red bull and gave in at 10le
2 weeks today and ill be on my way for my 3rd stay at the CSR
when i get chance ill write a proper review
Wondering if you are going to stick up a review, as it would be good to have up to date info. Went to Red Sea Holiday Village at Easter and was thinking about Coral Sea Resort for next year.
We snuck in and had a quick look round but it was all a bit furtive as the wrist bands are slightly different. Not great ones for going back to the same hotel twice and thought this might suit as it's similar to RSVH but a bit cheaper
Was the food still OK ? Any reports of sickness ? Not that bothered about entertainment, but I can imagine it's disappointing if you have been when it was good and then it has turned a bit rubbish.

booked to go here next May after going to the hv this year, is this going to be as good?
we went to the CSR 2 years or so ago and the shops and resteraunts in and around the hotel and in Nama Bay seemed to prefer English money to their own, were going to the CSR again in August for our 2nd visit, is this still the case as it would save me the bother of getting money changed ?
Thanks
we have just returned from the coral sea and we had a fantastic time as always(this is our 4th visit) the restaurant stays open till midnight when late flights are due in.one piece of advice though the minifridge in the rooms are not include in the all inclusive, ask at reception for them to empty it.there are no tea and coffee facilities in the room either,we always take a kettle.the staff are really friendly and cant do enough for you and are always happy to help.there is a really good supermarket out on the main road of the resort, its cheaper than the one in the hotel. all in all we now class this hotel as a home from home.change your money at the resort as you get a better exchange rate the first choice staff will change it for you.
My first post here, we are off the the Coral sea resort on friday for the second time, we last went two years ago.
Just a couple of questions can anyone help?
1. Our son is going to be 12 a couple of days after we arrive, we wanted to contact the hotel to see if we could order a cake etc but cannot find any contact details, can anyone help with an email address? we would also like to arrange a taxi transfer through the hotel for our arrival.
2. The boy wants to learn to dive, what is the onsite dive centre like, or is there a beeter one nearby we should look at?
3. Do we need to get visas if we dive at ras mohammed, you did a couple of years ago?
thanks in advance
Martin
PS how far away is the Raddison SAS may have some friends there in the second week

we have just come back from the csr , we did the ras mohammed trip with first choice and didnt need a visa , we booked it at the welcome meeting £35 and £20 ch and had a fantastic day
We (aka she ) want to do the Cairo by air trip but have heard on another thread here that the First Choice reps are in the habit of being a tad "tricky" with the exchange rates (this site wont let me post the link but it's the last page of the EXCURSIONS from SHARM Sharks bay Naama bay etc etc topic).
Any experiences from people that have been to CSR on booking trips from either the reps direct or from one of the local tour shops which I understand are now virtually right outsde the front enterance?
Also, having experienced the big resorts in the Carribean, and understanding how long it takes to get to know each one (it's SO much easier and familier on the second vist), are there any tips in this partcular resort? Any downloads of resort maps to study in advance (not the same as being there I know but...)?
hi we went to csr in april, hubbby n son booked direct with aquarius for a snorkelling trip to ras mohamed, they said as first choice use them but have a booking fee so it is cheeper direct. no visa needed!!!! also just outside hotel they booked a half day quad biking wich was good value for money. son went on with hubby and they paid about £20 inc a bedouin tea and watch the sun set. no visa needed
does anyoe know what this is like for evening entertainment? we stayed at the hv last year faniced a change for next year, any feedback?
Looking at booking this hotel but want to know about access to sea. I know you can walk in quite a long way out but I quite like jumping off a jetty into deep water- is there a jetty here?
Thanks!
yes there is a jetty there
Thanks, next question......is the snorkelling any good at the end of it? have read a review which suggests not....
Yes there are we went last August just was way to hot then lol we going back in 4 weeks times but snorkerling was fantastic some beautiful fish my hubby went a way bit out and he said it was fantastic were i stayed near the jetty as im not too good in water but it was lovely x
There is a jetty that goes quite a long way out but the water still isn't that deep when you get there (about 4 - 5 feet)
