......................Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water............Wooohoooo!! We`re back!

Absolutemondo fantasmogorrical time had by all I would say!

What a great bunch..............except for me after a few sherberts,of course   ........well, we didn`t actually get thrown out of anywhere or get arrested so it couldn`t have been all that bad!

The trip down was arduous, and the trip back pretty much the same, but the bit in the middle was more than worth it.

Have plenty of blackmail photos and stories to tell in due course (will post on 4/7 thread and Cruise revues etc once I get my breath back!)

Have already found that the room service back here is nowhere near as good............Julie will never get the hang of folding the end of the loo roll into a pointy thing the way Dharma (Balinese cabin dude) kept doing and I just cannot get the 24-hour coffe deliveries here! :shrug :rofl

I could go on............and probably will.........but I can assure anyone going MSC that they will not be disappointed overall. They have a few Italian ways which are slightly whacky, but the whole package is very appealing as far as I`m concerned.

We had different flight times (I happened to be one of the earlier ones) so there may be some who will dabble on here tonight.

Thomas became the "HT Rep" (when we all took a step backwards to help him volunteer!) and has some DE cruise info which you will find interesting.

Sorry to report that the "Camels for Cruisers" deal didn`t come off as we took the train into Tunis and there are restrictions on transporting livestock.

Many other deals were done, but for a small fee I will not publish!!

Welcome home Tony and 4/7 Melodians :D

So pleased you all had such a great time.

We are all looking forward to hearing all about it .............. especially the blackmailable bits and
They have a few Italian ways which are slightly whacky
This should make interesting reading :!:

It has been very quiet here without you all. :)

Welcome home Tony, et al! It's great to hear you had a great time and I am looking forward to details, pictures etc, when you have had a chance to catch your breath! The mention of DE is also intriguing but I will just have to be patient!

Nice to have you back!

Welcome back Tony and all the other 4/7 cruisers! Sounds like all the angst was well worth it.

Thanks peeps!
Have given a little `taster` on the 4/7 thread if anyone is interested but do not want to gazump my fellow cruisers by giving the juicy bits until they are about to defend themselves.............or foward their credit card details!! :rofl

It`s really odd...... as I looked back at some of the posts, I can now `hear` Thomas, Phil, Aslemma etc. `speaking` the words in their own voices!

Spooky!

Thomas and Phil and Lilac Labradore were nearly as I had imagined but the others were not. I dread to think what they will have to say about me!!!

A good lot though...........we shared some stuff together and had time to ourselves as well. Also met some really nice people (just other cruisers) like the two Swiss ladies who became my `sun-deck partners`.........ooh ermmm, have I said too much already??!!

Ayesha the English hostess is fabulous and took me in her stride! I would have taken her home with me but even I couldn`t explain that one away to `er indoors!! :no :rofl

Hello from hot, sunny Southampton.

I wonder what "er indoors" has been doing while you were away, Tony!

I wish there had been other HT people on my cruise so that I could picture them.. At least, I should meet one on the cruise next week and Myles says he will be around when the ship docks in Invergorden.

So glad you all enjoyed Melody. It was a great week when I went and I still have the sun tan. I just hope those still waiting will be as lucky.

Have to keep posting to keep up with Magsy's five stars!

I wonder if "er indoors" is now doing all the unpacking and washing as Tony is busy posting on 2 threads!

Great to hear you all had such a wonderful time :D , and I look forward to reviews when you've got time.

Thanks for posting photos, Thomas, great to put faces to names, but when I click on thumbnails they don't open to full size - any idea why?
Reply
Oh no, I can see the headings but no photos! Anyone else having the same problems?

Just posted this in the 4th of July thread but see its needed here as well.

to see the photos click click on one and then (when screen changes) press F11, or click ...view...full screen.
Thomas has added some more pictures that are working fine just the last 8 that you need to use the above for.

Peter

The ones that are working could be Tony's

The third one checking in all present and correct. Trust you to beat me to it Tony and Thomas, but as my flight was much later than yours I do have an excuse. Got home about half an hour ago as my son and daughter picked me up from Heathrow to avoid problems with the trains tomorrow.

It really was a super cruise and we will post in the next few days. No photos from me as I haven't got a digital camera but I'm sure the others will post some. As Tony says, it was nice to put faces to the names we have come to know and there were a few surprises but we all gelled really well.

Incidentally, I notice Rosemarie says that Thomas had the pool to himself for early morning dip.

That was probably because he was in the pool by 6.30 am :rofl

Off to bed in a minute but will be here tomorrow. :kiss
