Hi All,
I watched the Dom program this morning. Yes, it was a result getting the "No" changed to a "Yes" and the lady finally getting her cruise. But does this not put her back to where we who have had valid letters are? We know we have a valid claim but we don't know what is going to be offered and when.
Well done dboakes. Glad to see you have had a cruise offer from a valid letter so we'll see what happens fron here.
Glad to see many others finally getting their cruise though.

More marvellous news. Congratulations to Joyce and Darren. It seems that cruises are finally managing to come through, but in a trickle rather than a flood, so it looks like people will still have to keep on pushing.

. I sent a registered letter to the DE this weekend, i will give it about ten days and then commence court proceedings if nothing heard.

I'm assuming that, like me, she had been originally allocated a cruise that was then cancelled, and she then received the infamous "you don't qualify" letter.
I logged on here this morning to check what was going on before starting legal action through the small claims website. Now I'm not sure if I should write to the DE again first (even though they said that no correspondence would be entered into).
Did Dom give any advice on what to do?

Dont waste time with DE. They have written you a final rejection letter, so now is the time to go to Court. Honestly, it is so easy to do.
You are in a better position than those people who have has their claims validated, because they still have to wait (perhaps for ever!), but you have had your claim rejected so can get on with a Court case and hopefully you will get a cruise offer very soon after that. Good luck.

They must realise that if your prepaired to go this far then they really don't have a leg to stand on. Looking forward to hearing the result, if it goes that far. Which court wiil be dealing with the case? It would be great if people were able to attend to give support

I have recieved a letter from The Daily Express thiis morning, offering me a choice of 9 cruises.
My wait may finally be over, but the girl who books the cruises doesn't start work until 2 so I have got to wait intil then. Oh, I'm so excited, I'm smiling from ear to ear.

Well, I have got my cruise booked. I chose Island Escape 5th June from Gatwick. Palma, messina, Naples, Livorno, Toulon, Barcelona,Palma.
I am really pleased with the itinary, as I wanted to see Sicilly Naples and Florence, and the date suits me too. Oh I am so happy my cruise is finally sorted.

I would like to thank everyone who has contributed to this forum for their help , support and encouragement in helping me get my cruise. I hope I meet up with other Holidaytruth cruisers on the cruise, The people who are doing the bookings said they had 10 cabins allocated on this cruise so maybe I will meet other DE cruisers. If the cruise and the company is half as good as the Armonia then I will be very happy.
