Just posted on the September 2006 cruise thread

Never mind, I am about to book a Gulet Cruise in Turkey for 30th May to compensate - though it costs a bit more than £10 - to de-stress. This will be my 9th Gulet cruise and for anyone who doesn't know about them it is on a turkish wooden sailing boat which holds between 12 and 16 people and 3/4 crew and involves sailing from bay to bay, anchoring off mostly uninhabited islands, swimming and snorkelling in the sea, full board or all inclusive, drinking gin & tonic as the sun sets before dinner ..... ahh - can't wait.
Also there are companies for couples (or friends) and also for independent travellers (singles). On the singles gulets it is usually like minded people who book so everybody usually gets on really well and you feel as if you have known them for years. 5 friends and I go on the gulets for couples (or friends) every other year (we've one booked for October this year) and they are excellent too.
Wow, didn't realise this was so long.
