Hi Vistra
Might I suggest in the nicest possible way, stopping smoking might relieve your anguish.
Only jokeing but will solve your problems.
Regards Peli

Good Luck!!. Cally ~x~
PS... while I understand the point being made by Vistra that the cigarettes final destination will be the UK and duty etc will be paid on the items as they are from Rhodes, the other point of matter is the fact that Luci the mods luggage was just "in transit" (passing through so to speak) and didnt actually enter Tenerife where the allowance for what you CAN bring INTO the country is a different matter altogether.
Regardless of the amount you can actually legally bring into the UK, if you have to take it into another country beforehand, you have to be sure of those limits and if the allowance for bringing into Turkey is X amount, then I would imagine that regardless of where they are going onto FROM Turkey, they are still being taken INTO Turkey before their onward journey.
To Peli, the laugh is it's not me who smokes - it's my pal. So I know that when you go on holiday with a smoker it is wise to keep them happy in the nicotine dept!
Hi going marmaris Monday. Is it cheaper to buy my bacardi and Regal Kings at Manchester of buy in Dalaman. cheers.
Hi Moondust. Check on your airlines website, some airlines do special offers like two one litre bottles of spirit for £16 and a special price on cigarettes. Otherwise get it in your Duty Free at Manchester.
Thanks for info and prompt reply.
First choice do 1ltr bottles 2 for £16. Last time we were at Dalaman (last year) they were £10 a bottle ish.
Thanks for that Nicky.......
thanks
Best place to buy is your departure airport thats what i always do when flying to Turkey.
Thanks she now wants to know the prices of golden virginia tobacco, so the best place to buy is the departure airport: which is Dalaman
I bought my ciggies n GV in departure airport which was LBA paid £85 for 1000 regal & £70 for a kilo of GV sorry i dont trust Turkey for cigs or baccy cos got caught out once n couldnt smoke em

Check the prices on the plane on the way out, we flew with Onur Air and the prices were a lot better than the airport so I waited and purchased them onboard. (£24 for 400 SilkCut)
Thanks Dave, appreciate it they go on Friday
Hi on Onur airline we paid £65 for a 1000 lamberts but they was a lot more cheaper brands so just get them on flights as there are the cheapest
