Speedy boarding is sometimes not much good if you have to board a bus which is probably very likely at Malta.
We still have the option of Air Malta who are a little more expensive than EJ but cheaper than BA!
I would assume that on a flight to Malta in January the average age is likely to be 50+ (we are in that bracket) although there is no guarantee that the boarding will be any better behaved!! Older people are sometimes worse for queuing..............

The staff at the boarding gate are very strict about boarding priority and I've never seen the scrums that people talk about. Everything is pretty relaxed usually and everybody knows the ropes.
To put your mind at rest, perhaps you could email Easyjet and ask them to confirm that, if you purchase the Speedy Boarding, you will be guaranteed to be in the first boarding group, even if you are bussed out to the stand. It would be interesting to hear what they say about it.
Won't bother with speedy boarding - most reviews tend to suggest it is not worth the money. Like a previous poster I suspect the flights won't be full in January.
Will let you know what I decide!

Go for it Girl, haha.
New Manchester routes for EasyJet
EasyJet will launch three new routes from Manchester this winter.
On October 29, it will start flying three times a week from Manchester to Marrakech.
On November 6 it will start a six-times-a-week service to Copenhagen and a four-times-a-week service to Munich.
UK commercial manager Carly Brear said: This is our most exciting route launch to date from Manchester as it represents our first significant offering of low-cost city break destinations from the airport."
Fares for the new routes will be announced shortly and seats will go on sale next week.

I am just filling in the API for our flights to Turkey and I'm not sure what to do with my husband's pasport details. He is now a British Citizen but he doesn't have a British Passport so I will put the details of his turksih passport down. But when it says Nationality should I put UK or Turkey? I was going to put UK but then I wasn't sure if that was right
I would use the details of the valid passport he'll be using to travel on. Even though he's a British citizen, he's still a Turkish national.
Darren
Ok thanks, that makes sense
If the Dingles want to scrum at the gate and rush on so they can sit next to each other, that's fine by me. It means I'm less likely to end up sat by them!
- that's one way of looking at it I suppose!!
Does anyone know when Easyjet will release the flights from Manchester to Dalaman for next June. They are so cheap if you can catch them on the first day or so of them going on sale.
Steve, around early December. I bought LGW/DLM seats for about £130 (end July) the day they were released but you need to be quick to get the best prices. They went up in price £100/seat within a few hours of release for some dates in July/August.
Im flying from Manchester to Dalaman in August, never flown with Easyjet before, just wondering do they sell drinks & snacks through the flight?Im sure they do,just checking
thanks for the help
joanne
They do sell drinks and snacks - comparitive items and prices with the likes of Thomas Cook etc. The last time I flew with Easyjet you could buy tea, coffee, hot choc, soup, cold drinks, sandwiches, chocolate, crisps, etc. and they used to sell pizzas, not sure if this is still the case though! Alternatively you can take your own food and drinks though you'll need to purchase the drinks airside at the airport.

Booked our flights in March I think it was for September going to Dalaman was the first day they came out and we paid £75 each inlcuding baggage. I may book the speedy boarding before I go aswell, I know you don't need it as we managed to get extra legroom both ways going to Alicante in December without it, but would be nice to get it just to give us an even better chance of bagging the extra legroom seats as I am 6'3 and 4 hour 15 min flight can be very uncomfortable for me.

Roll on August now hehe
We're flying Manchester to Dalaman in August. I believe that route doesn't start until the beginning of August. Gatwick is much nearer to us but the MAN/DLM seats were half the price of the seats on the same dates from Gatwick. I usually try and avoid Easyjet as I'm not fond of their boarding and seating arrangements but we're flying to Dalaman from Gatwick in two weeks time and then MAN/DLM mid August as the prices for both were bargains compared to other airlines. Easyjet are fine for shorter flights but whether we travel with them to Dalaman again depends how the flights go

They originally weren't due to start the route untill August but they brought the date forward, and I think they actually started Manchester to Dalaman the end of May.
Steve
Just checked the site and yes, they are flying that route now. The prices have shot up though for our dates in August. I really can't imagine Easyjet get many late bookers!
